Because he hasn’t beat anyone good

He or LSU?
Is Football not a team sport?
Does Daniels play defense?

Neither has Caleb Williams

Sanders
Penix
Williams
Nix
All of those out of the PAC 12. Some will eliminate the others….Penix has played beat up to this point.
Daniels is statistically just as good or better than those qbs. He has an opportunity against Bama and A&M to continue to shine.

You need to understand this my friend

They look at our record and defense instead of what JD is doing. It's bout the player not the team and record

Brady's stats are very good. When you look at stats and winning he's clearly #1. But no one is putting Terry Bradshaw at #2.

Doesn’t matter. The heisman has always been about the best player on the best team. I’d argue the he is maybe our third best offensive player, but that doesn’t matter either bc the team isn’t good.

Brees and rodgers could have won the same with TBs defenses. Tom never had a SB team with any defense worse that top 10. It’s a flawed way to look at a team sport.

As much as RG111 has called our games, I don’t think he has mentioned JD

The team had 2 losses in the first month of the season is why.
It’s not fair but that’s how it is.
If he keeps playing as well as he has and we keep winning, the talk will increase.

Actually this game worries more than any other on the schedule because of where it falls
Win or lose, we always seem to have a letdown after Bama and this year that game is Florida.

Isn’t he the all time stay leader in just about every passing category?

Heisman winners have to have big plays in big games (games that matter). He still has a chance to do that against teams like Alabama and A&M. But if LSU is not competitive in those games, his stats don’t matter.

Yep.
Jayden is pretty much gonna have to put the whole team on his back and walk it across the finish line for us to win out. But, if he does that he will deserve the Heisman

Brock bowers should win the heisman. He’s the best player in college football and it’s not remotely close

I agree with you, people should be happy he is still in the conversation and still has a chance to be a finalist with big wins against Bama and A&M.

JD is
No. 2 in passing efficiency - 196.74
No. 10 in completion percentage - .730 (T J Finley No.7 at .733 for N Texas State)
No. 2 in Passing TD's - 19
No. 3 in Passing yards - 1969 only 51 yards out of 1st place
No. 3 in Passing yards per game - 328.17
No. 14 in passing yards per completion - 14.92 (this represents vast improvement over last year, he finished the season near dead last)
No. 60 (out of 200) in rushing yards per game - 70.3
No. 53 in rush yards per carry - 5.63
Malik Nabors
Receptions per game tied for 5th at 7.7
Receiving TD's tied for 10th with 6
Receiving yards per game 2nd - 128.5
Brian Thomas
Receptions per game tied for 28th at 6.2
Receiving TD's tied for 1st with 9
Receiving yards per game 11th - 100.5
Malik Nabors averages 16.76 yards per catch, which ranks 62nd and BTJ averages 16.30 yards per catch, which ranks 74th nationally, but only 1 player nationally with a higher yards per catch average has more receptions than Brian Thomas and no player with a higher yards per catch average has as many receptions as Malik.
Add in Thomas being tied for 1st and Malik being tied for 10th in touchdowns...these LSU receivers are highly productive

Winning has always been part of it. The more LSU wins, the more his stock rises.
