Hurts wasn`t a NFL player either.

Based on what? High school star rankings? I remember many games where the WR’s struggled to get open or separation. I’m sure that’s still JD’s fault in your mind though.

Jayden gets 5 full years of starting, while others with NFL potential get to sit on the bench. Must be nice.

I’m not defending him. He doesn’t need defending. Same as nuss, if he thinks he can transfer and just be anointed starter then let him leave. No need to guarantee a starting spot if there are equally competent QB’s. Doesn’t make sense on BK’s part.

Would really like JD and Walker to stay.

You have to figure with our returning offensive production, the backup should see a good amount of play time against Grambling, Army, Ga State, and perhaps Miss St (rip Leach).
I imagine it would be a smoother transition JD -> Walker than JD -> Nuss. What do I know tho…

Someone’s going to leave, but we’re going to be just fine.

There was 1-2 games where the WR group wasn't having a good day. More often then not, LSU had WRs running open. That was obvious to anyone watching the games in person.

But more importantly, this is the SEC. You're not going to get busted coverages to feast on. You have to anticipate, throw guys open, and know when to force a 50/50 ball. JD does none of that. How can you indict the WR group for bad play when they aren't used?

If the WR group isn't the strength of the team, then what was it? DL is the only answer, and even they fell off the face of the earth after Bama.

He’s projected as the 5th QB I think so why would he enter a real college QB competition and risk losing that? If he gets beat out he’ll go undrafted, he’s not risking that for your arguments sake. If he’s back it’s because Kelly named him the starter.

Yep, I agree, the young man has a great skill set that can be used by the NFL. wish him the best in the league next year

In what world would anyone think they should redshirt fresh yr and then become the starter the next year?

If this is true, I can’t wait to see the run first QB continue to fail to see the field, miss open receivers and fail to throw a good deep ball.

High floor - Low Ceiling QB 8/9 wins in season again incoming.

If 5th is a realistic projection than certainly someone in his life should be at least providing an argument to him for why he should go.

Sadly no. Jayden was a great bridge QB during a rebuilding year. His limited progression reflects he is who he is at this point.

Who’s your source? You don’t have to post a name. Thread’s anchored anyway so no one will probably see.
