And Lacy should move to CB because he can’t catch a ball.

People are going to hate to hear this but it is 100% true.

At 0-1 and a colossal climb back to contention it seems smarter to go with nuss.

How much you willing to bet on Jayden not making an NFL roster at qb?

Good luck convincing him of that.

I can’t wait for my 10000 downvotes.

You think this because he’s a run first black QB, if he was a run first white QB you wouldn’t think this.

It’s not because you’re racist, it’s because you’re not intelligent and that’s an easy assumption to make.

He might just be the tall, athletic, an very fast corner back LSU needs now.

Your comment is still stupid

That being said it doesn't make sense for him to switch positions in college at this point for him or for LSU

Even if he loses his starting position he is more valuable as the reserve QB than another WR

If he's going to be a WR in the NFL then that's when the transition will happen

His possible NFL future isn't as important as his LSU present.

This.

I'm so tired of LSU fans pitting one QB against the other. It's always been "the backup" is the popular one but it's different now. At least it seems that way.

This board has been flooded with disparaging comments towards Daniels since the game. Coming from "fans."

Criticizing play is one thing. Making it personal is way over the line.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as aggravated as the next person because I thought he made improvements in the offseason just like everyone else did.but there were way more issues that need fixing other than the QB.

Look at the front page right now. There's a thread about "JD supporters...." suggesting or implying that because if you support this kid who plays for the team you supposedly support, you're less of a fan.

Or if you don't support the backup, you're part of the problem.

Even though both Daniels and Nussmeier support each other. It's crazy that the fans can't do the same thing.

I also understand that people are aggravated with the coaches decisions. Count me in that as well.

But to dump on Daniels and pretend he's the root cause of it all is preposterous.

It's nuts.

Maybe I do. Maybe I don't.

What does that have to do with the QB position? Feel like having a reasonable discussion or do you want to continue to act like a petulant child?

That’s because Manziel refused to look at anything the Browns gave him (videos from practice, the playbook, etc). They gave him a Chromebook that they logged the time he spent looking at and he had zero hours on his own time. He failed because he wanted to fail because he was miserable in Cleveland.

Manziel could still be on a roster if he didn’t try to do every ounce of coke in Columbia.

Two QB’s with Similar skill sets got drafted 3rd and 4th overall in the last 2 drafts.

We hear all spring summer and fall that both qbs are so close in the race that they’re both starters. But then they come out with Daniels as the starter like he showed them something that sets him apart from Nuss. And then we see game one and it’s the same ole same ole with him. Then when we finally get to see Nuss, the offense looks so much better. The run game improves, the receivers are actually making catches in tight windows and holding on to the ball, everything has a flow and Denbrock’s offense looks like it actually makes sense.

So excuse us for feeling the way we all feel about Nuss. It would be different if the guy came in and sucked and we were being ridiculous and simply just going for “the backup” but it’s not that at all. There’s a reason we’re so adamant about giving Nuss a chance. JD had his shot and he failed. Those are exact words from Kelly’s mouth. So if he failed and they were so tight then why aren’t we getting to see what Nuss’ shot at starting looks like? So you have fans calling us ridiculous and labeling us as Nuss fan boys and insulting our intelligence as though it’s only the adage that we want the backup. It’s so much more than that.

At the end of the day we all want to see LSU win. Simply forcing JD to continue to start while he goes out and looks like he didn’t improve one bit while we all cross our fingers and hope he does is stupid. It’s not working. So let’s try something new.

Yet, we’re all looked at as being ridiculous for wanting such a thing. It’s the status quo and afraid of change argument. I’m sick of that too.

Oh and there’s also the side that if Kelly refuses to give Nuss a shot when it’s so obvious that he should (JD fails in another big game) then Nuss is going to hit the portal and then we are completely fricked for next year. And to be honest I wouldn’t blame Nuss one bit. We’re very lucky that he didn’t do that this past spring. So there’s that part of it too. JD is locked in and he decided to forego his NFL chance and came back. So it doesn’t mean shite if he gets his feelings hurt because he’s gone after this year anyway. But if you piss Nuss off then we have a lot more to be concerned with.

Sorry for the novel.

Yeah, yeah because he is black. His skin definitely makes him not be able to throw down field worth a shite. Has to be about race, moron.
