Not saying he'll win the Heisman this year, but please tell us what your predictions were for the team with him at QB for the year. Specifically, remind us of your prediction about how we would fare against Bama.

Wasn't looking at his stats just looking at his quick release, and strong and accurate arm. It's pretty damn good.

You can look at his release, accuracy, arm strength. I don't even know anything about him but if this is his first year starting, maybe it took him some learning curve time? Or does that only apply to our guys?

This is not his first year playing college football. He was a starter for Oklahoma.
There is a difference between the best and the most talented. He has had a very strange career that has mostly been disappointing (after starting out great and actually being a Heisman favorite for a minute at OU). He is athletically one of the most talented out there. It's about putting it together like he did last night.

The Heisman has digressed into a popularity contest decided by the media before the season ends.

You would have to be an imbecile to want Spencer rattler over Daniels like some of these idiots on here have been saying. Pure idiocy.

Some still do.
It’s hilarious that any comment like yours get “downvotes” (not that those stupid arse things matter) because it’s 100% true. My guess is those that are “downvoting” are the “ones” that screamed the hardest about benching JD and are butthurt that he’s doing so well. I suppose the have their “reasons” for wanting him benched though I’m sure.

Tell me how any on that list are better.
Hint. They aren’t.

That’s just statistically false.

Hendon Hooker not being on that list makes no sense.

It’s nice to have a qb mentioned but I think we all know that he has some areas that need work

His season is over, there's no way he wins.

Yeah I thought that was strange as well. I get that he’s hurt now, presumably out for the rest of the year. But you would think a 10.75-game body of work would still at least put him in the conversation, considering he was pretty much a lock as a finalist going into this weekend.

pull his scholarship
But but but he under threw a R on a TD pass and takes too long when completing 70% of his passes. lol

It'd be one thing if he got hurt in a 63-38 win and only missed one game at the end but his last argument is getting blown out by South Carolina.

Wow I thought last year was an absolute shite Heisman year. This is one of the worst ever.

It’s not. He transferred from Oklahoma because he got benched. Definitely has talent but has been inconsistent his entire career. Had a great game yesterday. Those are few and far between.
