That would be an unexpected and pleasant surprise. He will go in the top 10 I reckon. Has had a phenomenal jump from last year. How much did VR help?

He really deserves the Heisman. I do not think that Bo Nix or Penix are close to him in production/performance. His running has been unreal and passing elite. That said, I hope he picks his spots to run judiciously in the NFL. Do not want to see an RGIII situation.

So many “fans” are going to be upset when Jayden is drafted like 3rd overall

No he won't, not even close to #1 overall.

If the season ended today, the Panthers have the #1 pick.

Which means the #1 pick won't be a QB.

Put a $1000 on it right now and I’ll book your bet with no juice. I promise I’ll pay out guaranteed

How many mock drafts have you seen with him not going #1 or #2?

Mock drafts prior to the combine aren't really that important

It's going to come down to scheme fit with whoever has the top picks

At worst he'll be the 4th QB off the board. He will be a first rounder. I'm predicting he is 2nd or 3rd QB taken but it would be big for LSU if he was #1 overall.

Jayden Daniels is not the physical freak that Richardson is. That’s why he jumped.

Daniels is still gonna be the better NFL QB but he’s not gonna jump up due to combine numbers alone.
He will rise in the draft boards but who knows where he goes.

While the honor of number 1 is cool, I would rather him go to a better than avg team that can use him effectively… like the Saints without Carmichael as the OC. Ha!!

Richardson literally tested as the most athletic qb in nfl combine history.

4.43 40 dash at 245 lbs.
40 inch vertical at 245lbs
10'9 broad jump at 245 lbs

This is by no means a shot at JD... but you're delusional.

Have you seen HOW DEEP the QB class is this year? He'll be lucky to go in the first round, IMO.

I don’t think he is. I think the OP has a good chance at being right. I think it will probably be the USC QB, though, because he is younger, so he could have more upside. But JD should be the second QB taken at worst.
