This what happens when you "unofficially" retire a number. Never should have been done with Burrow tbh. Maybe for the following season... but indefinitely? No
Easiest thing to do is honor them by putting their name inside of the stadium after they leave for the NFL.

Not sure what’s worse: Jayden’s camp pulling this move or the grown men on here suddenly trashing every thing he ever did for the program. Seems like a bit of overreaction on both sides…

It's what happens when LSU drags their feet after players pull of winning awards like the Heisman. Why wouldn't you already have a Burrow and Daniels statue to go alone with Cannon's, or at least their names up in the stadium? Never any official words on the jersey retirements either so everyone is clueless and then you have retards like Kelly that promises a number of a Heisman winner to a kid.
