I do not believe JD5 is the man. If I am wrong and he is, good for LSU, but until then I am skeptical.

He’s got arguably 2 future number one receivers in the NFL with Nabors and BTJ. Then throw in Aaron Anderson and Kyren Lacy

Oh sure. Yeah. He will kill it this season. Just wait and see.

He's been there long enough now to be really confident in his abilities, so, I expect a transfer in the spring, probably. Smh

I guess we could get a nasty surprise, but I don't think we lose Nuss at this point.

He finally got it right?

He accounted for 3800 total yards of O, 28 total touchdowns, had three interceptions, and completed almost 70% of his passes. He helped us beat Bama and win the west. Do you want to tell us how many other LSU quarterbacks have done the same.

Burrow??? lol. If you waiting for LSU quarterback to give you consistent Burrow like performances, you’re gonna have a hell of a wait.

This is awesome he has all the tools, all the highlights I have seen like the Lsu combine etc I have not been a fan but I’m not a coach and I really don’t no. But he still seemed to be passing the ball once the receiver had completed their route and were already sitting for the ball.

I’m really just not positive what that means for the combine it might be the drill and him not wanting we to have a pass bounce off a guys face mask before he is trying to get drafted etc

I can’t wait to see some improvements if he can add a timely laser over the middle to a WR/TE in stride in a small window passing a guy open he will with the Heisman with his running dude is a lightning bolt. No one will be able to stop him unless he gets clobbered and hurt

I'm not the one saying he is a Heisman Candidate.

He has to get more consistent in the passing game. I also don't like the qb leading my team in rushing. If he can play like he did against Bama, olemiss and uf then we can achieve every goal for the 2023-24 season. If it's more of the same we will win 9-10 games like 2022. I really though he turned a corner during the UF game. Then came arky and a&m. I don't know what happened.

Of course he is right now, he don't have a full defense against him on every throw.

Don't misunderstand, I want him to improve dramatically, but of course he is right now.

Jayden Daniels more aggressive, not being afraid to let it fly
I hope this report is 100% true, but after a decade of Les Miles practice reports and spring games where it sounds, and we look, like the second coming of the Art Briles’s system I will not believe it for one second until I see it against FSU.

Additionally, has anyone said he’s ever been afraid to throw it deep? I always thought the rant’s biggest complain to was his unwillingness to throw to tight windows, particularly on intermediate throws in the middle of the field, or at least that was my complaint.

If he can connect on 'tight window' throws like the beauty he made to Mason Taylor in the left corner of the NEZ to put us ahead of bama, he'll be fine....

He knows he won’t get hit all spring so why not. Just hope he doesn’t forget come Sept.

Can someone rewire their brain and INSTINCT in one offseason? It's great to practice and drill it. However, in live game reps when pressure is real - you don't just have to automatically THINK downfield, you have to have created a new DESIRE (willpower) for that to be a 'first' option (whether you override it or not) and then EMOTIONALLY enjoy doing so. Mind, will, emotions. It's a tough order. if he can't - I have full faith BK will pull him for Nuss if the offense is holding us back. I wasn't sure about that last year.

If he leads the team in rushing this year, I doubt LSU will be in the SECCG.
