JD5 making deep shots is the difference between lsu making a playoff run or just winning 10 games. I have faith.

Deep balls are great, but we need the 3rd and 8 completions that keep drives going.

Jayden has gotten bigger and stronger too which obviously helps with his arm strength. If he goes into the season letting it fly we have a huge opportunity to have an elite offense next season.

We’ve encouraged him to do that, he’s done an unbelievable job here early and in the spring. We’re about halfway through and really like the progress we’ve made there and we’ve got some dynamic guys who can go get it on the outside. That’s going to be a big key for us.

Do you follow lsu football?

We were ranked in the 100's in passing yards per completion for the entire season(meaning Check down charlie).

It's like you're not allowed to recognize Daniels had some real stinkers last year and still be optimistic for this season.

It's wild..... ive been called a JD pumper when I've responded to posters calling him trash and been called a JD hater when I respond to posters acting like his 2022 season was great.

That's nice to hear and all, but I'm a hate losing a really good QB in Nussmeir. Nussmeir should really bust out this season in his 3rd year, he looked good against UGA. He's been there long enough now to be really confident in his abilities, so, I expect a transfer in the spring, probably. Smh

Jayden Daniels doesn't throw it any softer than Joe Burrow did. People seem to value guys throwing frozen ropes, but I don't recall Burrow ever doing that- he just put the ball where it needed to be
JD can not throw it with perfect placement like Burrow and he cannot throw it on a frozen rope like Nuss. Either would be good but he doesn’t have ability.

It’s the rant. You aren’t allowed to have any nuance or perspective.

Nuss has shown some flashes of good play and some flashes of bad play, but I havent seen anything to say he is a “really good QB”. But hey, I hope the guy stays and becomes a really good QB.

Check out his season total stats and report back to me with a detailed explanation of why you don’t believe the stats that show him having the best single season of any LSU quarterback

You don't need to look at a full season.
It was stated that he improved all season.
Just watch Arkansas, A&M, and Georgia. None of those games were Burrow like performances, hell they were not even Matt Flynn performances.
After five years, he has finally got it right?

If he can make throws like that one in the Florida game, and that thing of beauty to Mason Taylor in the left corner of the NEZ to put LSU ahead of bama, he'll be fine....
