Saturday night could've been his Heisman moment.

Lamar Jackson won the award on a 3 loss Louisvillie team, pretty sure they ended with 4 losses after we beat them in the Bowl Game.

He can’t make Hilton catch the ball that hits him square in the hands

Think Tebow may have won it on a 3-loss Florida team, that’s the only recent one I can think of

To be fair, there were a good three passes that hit WRs in the hands/chest that were dropped

optimism is fine, but our defense just gave up 700 yards in a single game and we have people saying shite like “everything is still in front of us” with a straight face

if he wants to win it he's going to have to come up with heroics, not just good stats. as bad as our defense was, we still could've outscored Ole Miss. we had 2 chances and didn't do it. IF he has more chances like that but doesn't come through and lead the team to victory he will be out of the running.

you won't believe me when i say this, but i hope he can come through in the clutch and competes for the heisman.

His last pass hit Hilton in the hands. He had heroics all game but our defense decided not to show up.

LSU shitty defense is keeping his stats up and in the running, if the D locked down Florida state and Ole Miss like we expect he doesn’t have near those stats.

Now, He will continue to have stats because every game will be a shootout, if he has a couple rise to occasion moments vs Alabama and A&M and drags this team to 9-3 or better he has a shot, & other contenders trip on their dicks.

JD5- go get it Baw.

We’ll hopefully we’ll turn things around. I have strong doubts that we will, but you never know.

It’s not a team award.

Actually it kind of is a team award. Detmer played for a pedestrian team. But generally speaking, qb’s of shite teams don’t win that award. And I’m pretty confident that this team will drop at least 2 more games. I do think JD has a crack at the trip to NYC. But he ain’t winning as the quarterback of a shitty team

And crazy that's he's projected as a 3rd day pick. I'm assuming that hasn't changed

It will change if he continues to play like this. Joe Burrow was projected to be around that too before he last season.
