I'm not sure there are many defenses on our schedule that are straight up better than State. Alabama, obviously is better. Ole Miss stats are impressive, but they haven't played anyone yet. Texas A&M's defense might be good, but Miami left a lot of plays on the field. We don't play Georgia. Auburn is probably on par or slightly behind State. Arkansas defense looks terrible. Tennessee's defensive stats appear better than they are because of 2 cupcake games. And Florida has given up 400 yards in 2 of 3 games.

Any LSU fan who takes pride in the a QB being the leading rusher on the team, must have a lot of confidence in Nuss and/or Howard.
We are going to need another good QB before the season is over, if he continues.
I love watching him run, but he has to learn get down and quit abusing his body.

Why not win the west? I think it happens if JD rounds into shape. The offense would be a formidable opponent if it comes to be.

Whether Daniels improves as the season progresses remains to be seen. But he didn't exactly have anyone stellar coaching him up at ASU. I'm optimistic that with more time and guidance, Kelly's system can further develop his passing game.

Daniels could IF he can become a good passing QB. As it is now he is not.

Burrow was garbage his 1st year at Lsu he was lucky to have great supporting cast in 2019

i greatly appreciate JD's running ability and performance in that area so far.
I just think it makes you too one dimensional long term. eventually, someone (UF, Bama, etc) is going to spy you with a comparable athlete and if that passing game hasnt evolved substantially....it's lights out before we even get going.

Burrow's 2018 season was top 5 amongst qbs in LSU history.....Big Steve is a fricking idiot and an obvious alter.
