At least we can all agree that the best 2 of all time both wore Purple and Gold.

After all the crappy offensive play that I have watched through most of my "on the couch career", I finally got to watch two of the best ever, in Purple and Gold.
It took both a year, and an "Off Season", to reach their potential but they gave us a show to remember.
The frustration in offense from McClendon to Miles was hard to bear sometimes to keep the faith.

Would JD win the NC in 2019? Maybe, maybe not.

Would Burrow even win 9 games with this team? Unlikely.

This is a good way to compare Burrow vs Daniels.

Daniels would hands down win the 2019 NC if we replaced him instead of Burrow.

Idk if Burrow would have comparable stats in 2023 if we replaced him instead of Daniels. We would loose against Missouri maybe even Florida and A&M.

Billy Cannon was Heisman nominated 2 years in a row and should have won. He kicked and played LB and returned and RB. He was a TE in the pros. Cannon was a Monster.

Jerry Stovall should have won the Heisman.
Politics! They gave it to a QB, Terry Baker, Oregon State, first West Coast Heisman winner. It was their turn.

100%. I posted the same thing in another thread. Lost by 89 votes. It was criminal.

Stop. Most dynamic and elusive? Yes. Best? No.

You say that as if being dynamic and elusive has no real value. In reality it does. At worst he is tied with Burrow for best QB ever. At best he has a slight edge over Burrow as a college QB.

But he’s no Joe Burrow and never will be. Joe is on another level of good and best ever.

There really isn't anything to suggest that Burrow was a better college QB than Daniels

They're equal IMO

I think Burrow and Daniels are both #1

Daniels would have easily won the NC on the 2019 team

Yep, Burrow was better vs top competition and when our defense was awful. In games where our defense gave up 30+ points Burrow was 4-0 averaging 53ppg, JD was 3-3 averaging 39ppg and of course we all know the giant gap in their performances vs top 5 opponents. JD was great but not on Burrow’s level.

you’re mentally insane. Joe was a buzz saw all season long against much better competition and tougher defenses throughout the whole year.

They’re both very very good but Joe Burrow is on another level of good, and that means he is the better of the two.

Of course you, of all things, would say they’re both equal. That’s the libtard mentality of wanting everyone to be at the same level of suck. Again, you and your people are mentally insane!
Sorry not sorry that y’all’s agenda is getting blown out of the water.

Look, it's easy to get caught up in the moment, and JD is great. But, anyone who truly knows football and is objective knows that Burrow is the superior quarterback.
