I was the biggest hater, and stick by what I said, at time last year nuss should have gotten some series and allowed daniels to see the defense from a different angle. Def should have gotten nuss in there this year Vs fsu.


The thing everyone was upset about was jd not letting it fly, that was the absolute only issue he was way to conservative and nuss was the polar opposite.

Jd changed how he played the game and began to let the talent at Lsu work for him. It honestly allows him to get better rushing status bc the LB and buckles have to absolutely stay glued to their man until jd has crossed the line of scrimmage. Can’t tell you how happy I am when jd makes a move sound out of a tackle tucks the ball and right at the line of scrimmage stops and dumps it to the TE or slot


He has grown so much and it’s exactly what everyone wanted but didn’t think he would ever be able to do by just letting the ball go and slinging it a few plays a game

What a fig. A lot of those statements were true in October 2022. Players improve. Look at all the trash that was talked about Bo Nix a few years ago. Same thing with Thatcher Hurd this year in baseball. College players get better. Groundbreaking

so people are just super emotional when it comes to anything. rather than analyze film and try to see what is happening, they'd rather just scream the QB sucks

Could you also post the video interview with JD5 before the season where he admitted he was hesitant and wasn't throwing the ball into coverage? The one where he talk about how Nabors told him he was open and JD5 said he wasn't but then told Nabors he was going to throw him some passes. He then admitted that Nabors mad the catches and told him "I told you, I'm always open".

Post that with your receipts so at least it shows that the very concerns a lot of fans had about JD5 last year were valid, JD5 himself admitted to the very issues.

I'm so tired of the "hey, look at me, I was right" posters. Don't tell some of the story, tell it all. Most fans simply was frustrated with JD5's play. This season, the offense took a HUGE leap because he's now throwing to Nabors and Thomas in 1-on-1 situations, no matter where the defender is, something he rarely did last year. But of course, you can't see that can you?
