I like it. Now just get another TE if there is one out there.

Nuss is gonna give spring ball a chance and then transfer

Let’s hope he shows enough promise in the new system to want to stick around

Best case scenario is Nuss wins the starting gig and stays around to compete with Howard

Brennan will be the one who leaves. Once he loses the spring battle he will re-enter the portal.

Nuss is never going to start here

He seems to be in a spot where he should have already made a move to be the QB but didn’t do it and now with Howard here it is going to be tough for Nuss to ever start at LSU.

I would prefer a starting safety or dlineman but back up Qb is ok I guess

I’d rather roll with Brennan Nuss and Howard

Is there any reason to think he’s a locker room issue besides the video of his teammates being pissed when he transferred?

Wait. People are using this video to say he’s going tk he a problem in the locker room?

Is this a stab in Brennan's back? CBK asks him to come back and then gets a transfer to come in and compete with him. Unless CBK had conversations with Brennan about it beforehand, it's bullshite.

Or

CBK had more time to evaluate MB since he’s been back around and has learned that MB ain’t THE GUY so why not bring in someone else?

In today's college football, I don't trust that any current member of LSU's roster will still be on the team on any given day, whether it's the Spring game, end of Fall camp, the opener against Florida State, or any other weekend.

So I will always in favor of adding talented players as long as they are not jackasses. I trust Kelly that Daniels is not a jackass.

Not at all. The coaches should always be trying to upgrade every position room on this team if they can. Let them compete and earn the job. Whomever wins it will be better for it and the team will benefit.

Unless he shows out in spring he'll be the popular back up for Myles

Lol. Obviously you are a card carrying member of the Brennan dick sucker club. Its Kelly's job to win games and he could care less what any of the fan base thinks. Daniels adds a dimension that Brennan cant which is why it will be Daniels job to lose. Brennan will end up at Tulane.

How much eligibility does Daniels have. I know he is a 3 year starter but just the 1 or 5he extra for COVID

Seems Nuss to the portal is all but certain.

This seems like a weird take. Did we think Nuss was going to beat out Brennan? The QB battle was always going to be Nuss vs. Howard in 2023 after Brennan was done. Bringing in Jayden Daniels doesn’t change that. Brennan will transfer after the spring if he’s getting beat out, just like Joey B did. The math hasn’t changed for Nuss.

I know JD technically has two years of eligibility, but he clearly plans to be one and done.

Well, Daniels isn't coming to LSU to be a backup, so it's likely that one of two things happens:

Daniels wins the job and Brennan transfers.
Or
Brennan wins the job and you have a very unhappy backup because he transferred from a starting position at one P5 school to be a backup at another.

Same thing can be said about Brennan and Nuss. Neither stayed with LSU to be a backup. Only Howard plans to be a backup this year.
