Awesome....except it did. Just as the layup was banking off the top of the board. Goaltending. Game over. No call? Fine. Let em play. Tip in. Game over.

Why do all these host talk about the offensive goaltending and completely igonore the Kentucky player that had his entire arm up and through the rim?
no self-respecting fan would want to win a game on a technicality like that.

He's assuming a lot.

Besides the obvious, LSU had kicked their arse the second half, and dominated there's the rest of the game.

He's also assuming LSU didn't have calls go against them when we all saw the standard Rupp home cooking all game long.

Maybe UK should be on a winning streak but they lost, so, I guess, technically, they're not?

BTW, why the heck does Jay Williams, a Duke alum, so concerned that UK got beat?

Is he not concerned that UK got to shoot free throws to tie the game after one of their players fouled Naz over the back going for a rebound and then the referees called a phantom foul on Taylor despite not touching anything but the ball?

come on, fella. Total fouls were equal at 17.

And we got the biggest call (actually a no-call) to win it at the end. No need to complain about cheating refs.

Not all fouls are created equally. You clearly didn’t watch the game and just looked up a stat.

Because LSU is not a member of the "Elite" like Duke and UK. It rains on their agenda to not have all the blue bloods in contention all the time. LSU is viewed as an interloper.

Tough titty said the kitty.

That's just stupid. How does he know that they would've won if the game went to OT?

As a rule the trailing team fouls way more because they are trying to stretch the game and make z comeback.

Anyone watching saw Ky go over the back in desperation with ten or less seconds left only to see the ref eat his whistle. We all saw Waters and Smart get hammered and no call.

Watch the game.

Kentucky didn't even have the lead, LSU was taking it to them in the 2nd half and had a clear advantage every trip they made to the line. Stupid comment. He's going to be even more pissy when LSU wins the SEC.

It was defensive goaltending and they missed the call. Game over.

I completely understand the role he's playing is to stir the pot and to purposely be controversial. However, to say that Kentucky should be on a winning streak and presuming that they would have won in overtime just discredits everything he has to say after that.

Says Kentucky should have come into today on a winning streak because of a blown call that they're gonna get into later. I guess he's assuming that there was no chance for LSU to win in overtime even though they "won" the second half.

You mean he’s hyping a big game? No way
