What's his elbow to thumb ratio?

Power will translate; it’s the batting average I’m worried about.

Hernandez's power didn't really translate. He hit 23 last year at Indiana State. Facing SEC pitching isn't the same.

I think catching everyday hasn’t helped him, but like the other guy said, power translates, whether you can get the bat on the ball for that power to matter is another thing.

Stanfield, great player, couldn’t never hit a ball 475. He has good bat to ball skills and runs well but the power isn’t there. if you out him down he may have a few
more HR but he wouldn’t be Jones if you put him in Div III

Right, he might be able to hit one a long way, but he might also have 5 HRs next year. Who knows? It's difficult to say what they'll look like against a completely different tier of pitching.

He’s a junior though hope it’s not just for draft leverage.

First thing I thought as well, wonder where he is projected draft wise?

Don't think he's in the top 500

Hernandez did better than Neal.

Neal was .203 with 3 hr at Bama.

I say hernamdez was a upgrade.

Hope that power translates to the SEC.

Hernandez’ power didn’t.

He's more like Dickinson than Hernandez. Meaning infielder and not catcher.

I wonder if it’s because his average is down, or is his slugging percentage down?
