Ah shite I guess you’re right. I just assumed you were saying key contributors in a good way. Yeah I guess they have been key contributors as to why we are 3-8 in the SEC. My bad you are correct.

Idk what he did or didn’t do. But injured players don’t just lay on the couch. They watch film, they work out what they can, they work mentally.

I’d venture to say that Beloso watched hours of film of his swing. In fact, I know he did judging by the change in his stance.

Oh ok we’re playing semantics. He said KEY and Kling was a name you responded with. How can someone who isn’t good be a key contributor?

Bro……

Go back and read the link he posted. It was about Johnson’s high school recruits who are playing this season.

Nothing to do with being key contributors in 2023.

What did I post that was dumb?

You seem legitimately confused.

You said “last year”. By that did you actually mean “this year”?

The lineup he played tonight is the one he will go with it was the same as last night besides kling and larson. Larson may have took his spot not position but spot

The question asked which were key contributors for last year or this year. You responded Kling, and since we’ve established that you weren’t talking about him being a key contributor to the 2023 team, we are left to surmise that on April 1, year of our Lord 2024, that you wholeheartedly believed that Paxton Kling was a key contributor to whatever success the 2024 team has achieved

He’s started more games than anyone else at CF in 2024.

Like it or not, that makes him a “contributor”.

Semantics again. What part of standing in the outfield and striking out a lot makes his contributions key?

This is about managing the players you have we will not score 9 runs a game we need to play like vandy did steal every base you can get that extra 90 feet. Be aggressive
Jay is coaching this team like last seasons team it is not remotely close.
Vandy stole a win tonight. If we played like that we would not have a losing sec record.

No. As I previously stated and as you quoted, I assumed when you were listing key contributors, you were doing it in a positive way. Obviously I was wrong. You listed guys that have been key contributors in a negative way as well.

The only person arguing semantics is you

He’s the fricking starting center fielder. That, alone, makes him a contributor.

You previously stated that I said Neal and Kling were key contributor “last season”.

I’m not sure you even know what you’re trying to say I said. Let that sink in.

You keep leaving out key. You responded to key. You said that he was a key contributor. By your metrics, anyone on the field who goes 0-4 with 4 k’s and 0 po’s in a team win is a key contributor

Yes, then you corrected me and I said "Ah shite I guess you’re right. My bad you are correct." once I realized you were talking about them being key contributors in a negative way.

Nothing even remotely close to this happened in this thread or the one you linked.

What? It's literally my first post on this page. It's me saying that exact quote. You quoted and responded to it.

I responded to a specific question about Jay Johnson’s recruits out of high school.

And yes, I listed Kling and Neal, two sophomore starters on the 2024 baseball team, as examples of high school recruits that are contributing.

What’s the issue again?

Because your first post that started all of this bullshite was that I said Kling and Neal were key contributors LAST YEAR. You then linked a post of me saying they were contributors as high school recruits THIS YEAR.

Do you follow?

quote:

I remember when RB10 listed Brady Neal and Paxton Kling as key contributors last year

That you refuse to admit that you listed them as key contributors. Specifically Kling. Paxton Kling, in your mind, is a key contributor because he’s allowed to stand in the outfield and hit under .200 (under .060 in sec play). That is being a key contributor to you.

His catch against Central Arkansas was key. Was probably hitting his weight back then too
