Gregory Clayton was a key contributor to him on the football team last year as well.

Wrong.

Dude said I claimed that were key LAST YEAR.

I 100% said they were key contributors as JJ high school recruits, which is what that entire linked thread was about.

Think about it. Who on the team was signed as a “Jj recruit” out of high school that is actively contributing?

Herring
Jones
Guidry
Kling
Neal
Milam

Short list because Johnson hits the transfer portal pretty hard every year. You should actually read through the linked thread you’re attempting to “gotcha” me with.

You also leave out this part
quote:

Name me one that has lived up to the hype and is a key contributor this year or last year?

Do you think that Kling and Neal have lived up to the hype?

And you answered a question that asked which players were KEY contributors on either team. None of the qualifiers that you’ve put forth in the last 10 or so posts. Just that you thought Kling was a key contributor. Whether you were knighting for Johnson or truly believe that is of no consequence to me, it’s just hilarious

No.

I answered a question that asked who were recruits out of high school that contributed to either season.

That is a very specific question.

quote:

None of the qualifiers that you’ve put forth in the last 10 or so posts.

Again, wrong.

You linked a response to a specific question, about kids signed OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL.

quote:

Just that you thought Kling was a key contributor.

Yes, he is one of the handful of high school kids that have signed and contributed so far.

Whether you were knighting for Johnson or truly believe that is of no consequence to me, it’s just hilarious

The fact you can’t wrap your head around this is the only that that is hilarious.

From your linked thread and the post that I specifically responded to:

quote:

I Clearly state high school recruits. Name me one that has lived up to the hype and is a key contributor this year or last year?

I’ve already said he hasn’t. But no matter how much it bothers you and the other retard, he’s the starting center fielder which makes him a contributor to the 2024 team.

Key contributor right?

And I see you’ve learned well from Ell, hurling insults when you’ve run out of excuses

Right. So they don’t apply to the following statement
quote:

Name me one that has lived up to the hype and is a key contributor this year or last year?

So I’ll correct myself. You didn’t state that they were key contributors last year. You listed them as players that have lived up to the hype and been key contributors this year. Got it.

Dude I just read this entire post and you literally posted the question that asks which player lived up to the hype and was a key contributor to either team. A question that you answered with Kling amongst others. And you can’t even admit it. Say you were wrong, say you misspoke, say you misunderstood the question. Anything short of that makes you the retard

Sure? I can’t pinpoint any single player that’s been “key” to the current run for this team.

Can you?

I’m sorry you didn’t realize that was in response to a specific question about high school recruits.

I don’t give a frick if it was in response to high school recruits. Not a single one of the high school recruits that Johnson has brought in HAS to be a key contributor, but you consider Kling to be one that A. Has lived up to the hype and B. Is a key contributor to the successes this team has had this year

Yeah it couldn’t possiblly be any of the guys hitting 100-150 points better than him

Maybe. Maybe it’s Herring with his sub 1.00 ERA.

Were halfway through the season with no leadership and no clear leader in the clubhouse.

Kind of proves my point. “Key contributor” isn’t really a thing with this team at the moment.

What? I keep hearing the rant insinuate that there are national title winning coaches that won a national without elite talent....please list these college coaches...

I know I’ll get downvoted but I have serious doubts about Jay. I know we won it all last year but that was one the back of two generational talents the likes we may never see again. Just don’t think the guy has it as a manager. Hes constantly outsmarting himself. "

Jay did a masterful job managing pitching in the post season last season.

It’s the same group defending this team and Jay. This team sucks and the coaching is even worse. Skenes and Crews saved Jays arse last year

Makes no difference. The worse he can suffer is another powerball retirement courtesy of fat money bags.

Yeah, and it’s the same group bashing this team and Jay that were doing it all the way through June of last year.

1B coach being morbidly obese is a sign of weakness and lack of self control. Not a good look.
