Smart displayed a Steph Curry like shooting performance in the Raptors Star Shooting drill leaving the whole gym astonished.

The drill consists of shooting 3s. You start at one corner, sprint to the far side wing, then to the opposite wing, followed by the far side corner and finish at the top.

Smart scored a 52 in 2 minutes.

When asked about the performance Smart simply said, “I’m a worker and no one can stop me from working.”

He’s also had pre draft workouts with the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, and Los Angeles Lakers. A lot of teams are eyeing him as a gem in the 2nd round.

Pelicans need a defensive minded guard who can takeover..

Have tons of picks to work with in the 2nd, drafting Javonte would be a dream scenario for both. J with Zion and young core would be fun to watch

Smart is a solid shooter, he has the sweet floater.

For a second idk how you could hate that.

How does this work? One shot per spot? 5 per spot? 10 per spot?

52 3s in 120 seconds is ridiculous and requires more than 10 at each spot. 52 isn't divisible by 3, so..

Smart gives really good effort. IMO, very low basketball IQ.

Because he makes bone headed plays at the worst times. Basketball isn’t just about shooting a 3.

Could’ve had his foot on the line on some attempts and that count as 2…therefore making the 52 point total attainable.

Yea, he was a pretty good shooter away from home in 19/20 but he struggled at the pmac that season. This last season he shot it so well both home and away, but he also showed he has a legit floater and can get buckets.

Lmao he hit more big shots and made more key plays in clutch situations than anybody on last years team. He’s come up huge anytime his number is called since he got to LSU.

Yeah, I couldn’t do the math either. Saying he ran across the cour and made a three nearly every 2 seconds is insane. I think that’s what he did. Basically running across and shooting before the previous ball even makes it in.

Love Smart but defense is not his forte by a long shot.

Having said that I'd love to see him get a shot to play with the Pels.

I don’t think his score was tallied in a traditional way

Yeah, the article does not explain how he scored a 52, but that’s the score he was given. I was a bit confused as well but either way he killed it.
