Javien toviano is now the last Robert Steeples recruit on the roster

With Ashton stamps offically entering the portal , toviano is now the last remaining Robert steeples recruit. Major credit to how quickly Raymond rebuilt the room steeples left a very bare cup

I’m really surprised Toviano didn’t turn out to be a legit player. Seems like yesterday he was a recruit celebrating when we beat Alabama at home.

Steeples was with the Minnesota Vikings when we hired him. The high school coach you're thinking of is Kyle Williams.

And he had just been a high school coach for many, many years in st Louis.
He was the assistant special teams coach for 1 yr in Minnesota before kelly hired him.

steeples coached for 4 years as a highschool head coach in St. Louis but only 1 year at the Vikings

No shite.
But he wasn't a high school coach when we hired him. Damn near every coach in the industry started as a high school coach. Steeples wasn't a fit and didn't work out. But it wasn't because he spent time as a high school coach.

Nah but he gets a bad rep because Polian wanted to expand recruiting boundaries and all it did was attract flakey commits during what was a few “lean” in state years.
