No. People only just remember the last small bit of 2021. Outside of a few outings he was never as good as people think.
Yeah I’ve never seen a players reputation ride so long off of one outing like his in that Oregon game. He threw well a couple other times but that’s mainly what people remember and think that’s just who he was before the injury

He's either a troll or an imbecile. I really don't see any other options here.

Javen had really good extended outings in late '21 vs Bama and A&M. Seemed like a true Fr coming of form. Never got it back post-injury.
Was a CPM recruit so wouldn't surprise me if he lands at USCe.

Best game he ever pitched was on the road in Oregon his freshman year. Was always hoping we’d see him return to that form but never could quite get there. Best of luck

Man I dunno why but really liked Javen. Wish he would’ve stayed, I think he has a ton of potential just needs more consistency

Yeah aside from the transformation of Little I’m certainly not sold on Yeskie - really a shame Wes got poached.

Yo everyone thought Wes did a shite job last year minus Skenes. And Georgia pitching was their downfall. Amazing how much can be forgot in a year.

Good luck to him in the future

I don’t think Wes was some god, but I think he was fine. Floyd was good. Ack was better last year than he was this year. Cooper was fine. Hurd was doing well at the end of the year. And Georgia’s ERA improved from last year to this year.

Oh I agree but the rant thinks since Jay stopped letting Wes go to the mound it was all him that turned the pitching around

Not saying Wes is not a good pitching coach but Georgia's ERA was 6.44 last year. It couldn't get a whole lot worse. It was still almost 6 this year.

At some point you have to wonder if we have the right pitching coach in place for these guys to want to all leave.
It’s the back half of the bullpen who is leaving.

So good against Oregon as a freshman in a pressure spot. Really thought he’d be a weekend guy for us
Whatever happened after TJ, he just lost his command and you could even see that he didn’t even know where any of his pitchers were going at times

I trust Jay Johnson. He wouldn't keep the wrong coach around for long or he would address the situation. The last two got promotions and I think we could use some stability in the position.
If Jay thinks Yeskie is doing a good job then I do as well.

Anderson looked really good down the stretch and has developed well. Jump and Holman also improved over the course of the season and Herring took a solid step forward.
A lot of the guys who struggled this year either weren’t ready or maybe just aren’t that great.
Let’s see what happens next year

Mistake not signing with the Dodgers. I’m sure the offer was very low dollar but he could’ve got more work in the Dodgers extended camp than he did in Baton Rouge this year.

Honestly, I don't blame him. Hes worked hard to get back to where he was but just has not been consistent since his injury.

Wow I didn't see this one. I know he wasn't as in control as before but this is a slight surprise to say the least
What? The dude got drafted last year and for some reason came back and pitched about 10 innings. He had to go somewhere he could get on the mound.
