Jason Whitlock’s take on the Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark situation.

This is not a for or against Whitlock’s post. It’s just an interesting take. Whitlock is someone I respect in the sports/political world because he is a black man who pushes back against most narratives pushed by the liberal media. He calls it like it is, no matter the blowback from the black community. This situation seems to break through political divides, as it seems you have a mix of people for or against what Angel Reese did, no matter the political ideology.

I, for one, would have showed more sportsmanship but I understand that this is who Angel Reese is. She has done the “too small” sign all year and at some points, affected her ability to get back on defense. She has also been T’d up a few times for her trash talking this season. At one point, I felt her antics would eventually cost LSU a game but thankfully it didn’t.

It's a very interesting take. It's hard for us Tiger fans to be objective, since we love Angel. I remember Larry Bird was a legendary trash talker, but he didn't do that at the end of the game. It was before and during the game. I can see Whitlock's points.

yea she clearly isn't very emotionally intelligent and just acts like a toddler acting on impulses all the time, would not wanna be anywhere near her irl

That’s not how he felt with regards to the Tiger wood vs Fuzzy Zoeller situation for which he made this comparison. It only seems like he’s one sided nowadays because that’s how the situation presents itself.

Props to Whitlock, he saw that there was no one in media taking up the "I have a black friend" role and he filled it nicely.
It's a hell of a grift and I can't be mad at a dude capitalizing on it.
