Insanely impressive considering his QB’s have been Ryan Tannehill, Matt Moore and Jay Cutler.

Why? Those guys are all decent qbs that have been good at string him the ball. Has one of the highest catches to targets ratios in the league.

I watch them every time I can and you could probably argue that those QBs limitations have contributed to his success, as they rarely push hard downfield. Always looking for Jarvis near the LOS

Not sure about that... Its funny while his offense was mostly boring he still won A TON of games even tough the opponents KNEW what was coming........... I bet Vandy or Kentucky would have loved to have that kind of success,,,,,,, Why don't you go root for them.........

Just because miles was an idiot doesn't mean I change my team, or ignore that fact he made bone head choices.

Miles at Vandy or Kentucky would have done the same as at Oky state. 4 yrs only 3 bowl games and won 1.

That's irrelevant, If you can put up 600 yrds in a game, but only put up 400 because you insist on running the ball, but no one can stop your passing game is just dumb. Hill was a beast not taking anything away from him, but that doesn't change the fact that as a WR duo Landry and OBJ at the college level should have set national records. These numbers are by no means hard set numbers, but just examples to make a point.

well Snead and his likely salary > Jarvis and his expected salary. that's for sure

if you look at their 2015-2016 stats it's not that much of a difference. the main difference is targets

Look at whom they're working with. Landry would absolutely dominate with a Brees like QB.

Worst, I doubt it, but a poor choice for sure

you think if he played for the saints, he's get 165 targets like he did in 2015?

those targets are largely a function of having bad QBs

Jarvis is a good slot/possession WR but he's not elite. we all agree that Snead is not elite, either

Jarvis is not far away from Snead and will cost probably double what Snead will

Running the ball on 1st and 2nd down when you have the best college WR duo in the last half century equals a coach not using his talent.

we had a rb setting the sec single sec ypc record.

You're absolutely nutts. Snead isn't half the WR that Landry is, and I say that with absolutely no bias whatsoever. Snead can't get open this year. That's why he's rarely ever targeted anymore. Landry runs some of the sharpest routes in the NFL. That's why he has a knack for creating separation and drawing more targets. In other words, he earns his targets.

For fricks sake, it's not rocket science! All you have to do is watch both of them play, and you can tell that Landry is far and away better than Snead is!!! I don't give a shite about Snead's 2015-2016 stats!!! Don't be such a Saints Homer. I love the Saints, but there is no freaking way that Snead even comes close to the WR that JL is!!!

Go ask unbiased coaches who'd they rather have. Ask them if it would even be close. I guarantee that every single one of them would take JL over WS!!!

You know that offense set records right? Two 1000 yard WRs, a thousand yard RB and a 3000 yard QB. Offense wasn't the issue that season. The Defense was.
You know they did not win jackshit, right? What's your Point?

Beckham and Landry leave here and catch more passes per year and make more TDs than they did their entire 3 yrs at LSU.

Even in 2013, LSU ranked 90th in the nation in total offensive snaps. NINTIETH. Currently it is around 102 in snaps and 115th in Pace of Play.

Playing only 60-65 plays/game, and being in the bottom 20 in Passing atts, took the ball out of the hands of Hill, Mett, Beckham, and Landry. That’s insane.

LSU Offensive Records are meaningless. The Offense is not Productive and is still the Achilles heel of the program.

Snead would be prolific (:rotflamo:) if he was the target of 150 balls that only travel 3 yards in the air, too. Instead he gets the same numbers with a lot less balls thrown his way.

People always hate on Landry's QB play but they maximize all they can squeeze out of a WR that runs 4.77

Why are you so fixated on a 40 time?

You know that route running and hands are much more important to a receiver than a 40 time right? Why isn't Usain Bolt in the NFL by your logic?

It's such a shame that NFL DB's allow such a slow arse receiver to catch over 90 balls a year huh

Care to google what Jerry Rice 40 time was?

ETA - what league are you watching where Snead puts up the same numbers as Landry?
