Lee is either going to get an SEC west championship ring or he is going to start games this year...win/win for him

Always liked the kid. Was thrown to the wolves as a freshman and survived.

Although, to your credit, your posts are geared a lot more towards your mancrush on JJ and fluffing him than directly trashing JL. You mostly hit him on the side of the head, not directly.

The point of the OP was thanking JL for having the courage to hang around and continuing to work hard and compete instead bolting for another school (as many Tiger QB's in the past have done)

This is nice and all, but I'm pretty sure he's not starting.

Stand by it and I can care less what anybody says. I'd take him representing LSU over JR without a second thought. Interceptions and all.

Maybe the OP should start a thread thanking Jefferson for playing so well despite our coaching staff's inability to call plays, our offense line's inability to block, and our fanbase's inability to understand the game.

This week there have been 6-7 threads about Lee and his "heart," "courage," "improvement" etc., etc.

And one thread about Jefferson.

It's a joke really.

Point to one thing in those links that isn't based in absolute fact.

Furthermore, two of those links are discussing the problems with both QBs, in which I also discuss Jefferson's issues.

I have never criticized his character or work ethic. Ever single negative thing I have ever said about Lee deals with actual game play and analysis - and I do the exact same for Jefferson. Just because Jefferson comes a bit better than Lee in that analysis doesn't mean I have a "mancrush" on him.

I've seen enough of these threads to read between the lines. Wise up, man.

What are you talking about? Jefferson doesn't deserve any love. It's not like he's been called "dumb," "lacking in leadership," "unserviceable," and inept on this board. And we don't actually have to count on him to drive this offense next year.

Why would anyone start a thread in support of the starting fricking quarterback at all. There's no reason why he should matter to the fans.

OK. It would appear that most believe that Jefferson will be the starter, thus appreciation threds for a player who has hung in there with hard work for the betterment of the team.

You can start one.

No its not.

Look, I think its great that LSU has both Jefferson, and Lee. Both of them have had highs and lows (learning curve) both of them experanced Jr. QB's. I think LSU is in great shape at QB.

When Jefferson stands in front of the cameras, after at least one of his starting WR's have quit on him, and his coaches blame his 1 pick 6 for the 38 points the Maleveto defense just surrended, and answers every question the way that JL did in 2008, instead of ducking out the back door after every game of steering our #112 offense through 2009, then I will start the thread for you.
