When Jefferson stands in front of the cameras, after at least one of his starting WR's have quit on him, and his coaches blame his 1 pick 6 for the 38 points the Maleveto defense just surrended, and answers every question the way that JL did in 2008,
But Jefferson doesn't throw pick 6s and his players don't quit on him.
That's kind of a crazy standard to hold him to.

What a gay thread. Grown men saying such sweet things to a kid. Lol.

Its turned into grown men pitting two college kids against each other. Embarrassing. A props thread turned into a bashing thread. Go figure.

No it didn't. It turned into a thread calling out retarded fans who feel the need to start a thread about the back up QB every single fricking day of the week.

I agree.

A props thread
Over the last six months, Jarrett Lee's been given more props than a Broadway Theater.

Only bashing the idiot masses known as LSU fans.

So you come in and bash him. Congrats. I don't think you have it in you to give the kid props for sticking with it. It burns you inside. You can't stay away.
Can you give JJ props without debasing Lee? I highly doubt it. Your infatuation with the QB situation is strange. I am not the only one who thinks so.
Both QB's have faced some adversity, and I give props to both. Lee stuck with it when may would quit. JJ hasn't faced that yet. Maybe this year.

Moss, you are so smart and should be exalted above all cloaked in P&G.
As for JL, he has my respect. I hope that one day he will be able to help LSU win a big game and leave here proud of his career.
I was j/k Moss, STFU.

I give both of em props for playing for what I would now like to call "the worse fans in america". Geez I thought Philli fans were bad with all their QB shite. Yall arse take It to a whole notha level of stupidity.

I am becoming much closer to agreeing with this statement. Some of this shite is pathetic. It is embarrassing.

Where have I bashed him? Please show me this?

I have on multiple occasions. I just don't feel the need to do it everyday as a veiled attempt to bash Jefferson. By the same token, its the same reason I don't start a "Why Jefferson is the starter," or "Jefferson's a great person" thread everyday as a veiled attempt to bash Lee.

The only thing that pisses me off is the posters that do this. And the main reason is because some of them are the very ones that love to label people "bad fans" and yet they pull this crap daily.
That and I hate stupid people.

Well, in all fairness, I hardly give either props. I'll argue why one should start over the other by I'm pretty even handed when talking about their shortcomings. In fact, the only people I really "debase" is the coaching staff, especially Crowton. And its well deserved.

It has less to do with the QB situation and more to do with the constant misinformation/half truths posted on this forum. I also hate hypocrites like the people that start the daily Lee thread then tell everyone else that they are bad fans. If this argument was occurring over who should start at Safety, I'd act the same way.
These are my bottom line opinions:
1) While certainly not perfect, Jefferson is clearly a better QB than Lee based on actual game performance.
2) The development of both Lee and Jefferson have suffered tremendously under Gary Crowton and the rest of the LSU staff.
3) Both seems to be decent people off the field.
4) LSU fans, by and large, are very unintelligent and hypocritical bunch.

Lee didn't quit. Insted he doubled his effort.
He lost 30 pounds and worked hard at getting his timing down with his rec's. Wether he ever
starts you have to admire his perserverence.

You have gone off the deep end, paranoid. Not every "thank J Lee for sticking with it" is a thinly veiled attempt to bash JJ. You have been reading too much Afreaux.

Dude, come on. I know you aren't that naive.
Hell, I posted them in this thread earlier. There were four "Lee should start" or "Lee looks good" threads posted YESTERDAY.
It's every single day.
ETA: If I were to start a thread everyday that said "Why Jordan Jefferson is the Starter" that listed all kind of positives about Jefferson and was completely silent about Lee, you would be quick to harp on it - and rightfully so.
It has gotten beyond ridiculous. And that's why is aggravates me.

What do those have to do with a Jarrett Lee appreciation thread?
Here you go Moss. You can go wild here..
LINK
I doubt you will. You prefer to bash the other.

You're being willfully obtuse because I know you're pretty smart.

I'm not going to post there because it's cheesy and lame just like this thread. It's sole purpose is to prop one player up over the other based on nothing substantive.

Again, please show me where I have bashed any LSU player in this thread.

Yes, because I was making fun of the idiot bashing Jefferson for apparently refuse to talk to the media (although I have never heard anything like that before today and I'm pretty sure he's making it up).
Furthermore, he laid out some ridiculous scenario where Jefferson has to throw a pick six and have a teammate quit on him, then address the media about before he'll respect Jefferson.
Now, could I have just called this poster functionally retarded and moved on my merry way? Sure. And I probably should have.
But, good lord, that was such a stupid post, I just couldn't resist.

Thanks a lot, Roger.
I said I wouldn't post in the Jefferson Appreciation thread and now I see some moron post some asinine comment about the Ole Miss.
I'll stay true to my word.
