How generous of Jamie.

He never said that. He said that Howard is confident and that Howard believes he's the best QB. That's a big difference. Stop lying

Lol imagine the head coach saying that the 3rd string QB is the best QB on the team and not playing him

This thread is proof that all these people screaming "just play him" for either Nuss or Howard didn't live through the Jarrett Lee days to see what happens when you play them too early.

Kelly not gonna throw him to the wolves, this year is purely a rebuilding and installation year. Let Howard get reps in practice and 4 games plus a year in the S&C program. He will be ready next September.

I don’t get the infatuation with a redshirt at this point. If he balls out at LSU, he won’t stay 4 years. This year is a transitional season on the field, in the locker room, etc. If Howard does what he is capable of doing, it won’t matter if he is redshirted.

Yes, we forget the baller nessmeier is (or however you fricked up his name). He’s been such a baller that he hasn’t anything.

If there’s one thing I freaking hate it’s a father of a player doing interviews.

Didn’t even like Burrows dad doing it but Joe was so good we let it slide a little. Plus Burrow’s dad wasn’t intolerable.

Yeah, I don’t understand the hate LSU fans have for certain former Tigers. I get the Ryan Clark hate, and the general dislike of anybody who shits on the school or state for no good reason.

What did Howard do that was supposedly bad?

I guess it’s because he dared to give a shite about his son.

Why are you people so concerned with the redshirt? If he is that good he won't stay anyway and now he would be eligible to leave after 2 seasons of game time.

I don’t fault CBK for tryin to RS Howard this year. That being said, he should play as much as the rules allow this year.

What if he doesn’t? What if he does what Burrow was capable of, which was turn into the best college QB in the country by his fifth season?

Play him the 2nd half if we are trailing by more tha 10 at the half. If he wins, burn the RS.

He only played in 1 game he still has 3 more to go, if the season starts going down the toilet I don’t see the reason against getting him some extended snaps in the last few games and / or bowl game
