I met his dad, Jimmy, and other family members in Austin after UT game in 2019. He was wearing a number 1 lsu jersey with pics of jamarr inside the number. I knew his name from recruitment but didn’t tell him that until he introduced himself. Really a great guy, we chatted for a bit and I told him his boy was a grown arse man now and about to break records that year!

I knew someone would show up to represent. Seriously, that speaks volumes about the program especially the slip on being “recruited” to play football there and they discuss the cost of education knowing full well, the Chases didn’t pay a dime when Ja’Marr was there.
