I get that a lot of the upcoming season is focused on Brennan and can he be what Joe was. And yes I agree... we need someone who will protect the ball and get it playmakers and I actually love Brennan here! Think he is a Heisman dark horse...
But seriously...
Who is gonna cover Chase? Kid is a NFL talent and is wearing these guys out in title games... total TDS??? I’m putting the over/under at 30

To the extent you're saying Chase is the Effing Man at WR, I will agree. His skills are hard to account for as a DC (just watched some highlights from last year and half are Chase ballin out). But that he'll win the Heisman, doubt it by a lot man; it's just not usually a WR's game. If he does fulfill your prophesy of catching THIRTY TDs next year (do you have COVID, bro ?), agree, no competition; give him the trophy.

I guess you saw what the D backs from other teams we played said at the NFL combine when asked who was the best receiver they covered, Chase. But Terrace Marshall is 6'4" about 215, he's a beast, will be splitting catches with him, not to mention McMath, Palmer, the tight end, etc. I think the record will be decided by who plays slot. If we use double slot its gonna be crazy. Not to mention all three backs will be tough. Watch the 24/7 sports 8 min video on our Freshman backs. I forgot how tough they were. Better defense also means we won't need to score 50 to win. Will run a little more unless MB lights it up. I think he's (MB) a dark horse for the Heisman, maybe 2021. Geaux Tigers.

LSU wasn’t predicted to win 15 games nor the national championship. Joe Burrow was never in the pre season heisman conversation. Justin Jefferson was never labeled a 1st round draft pick.

I am not worried about individual records like this. I hope Brennan is good enough like Burrow to find the second and third receiver if our opponent tries to take away Chase like OK did and Jefferson caught 4 TD passes. When they take away one receiver, our other receiver will have one on one coverage and with their talent, we can make them pay.

You dont have to cover him if we cant get him the ball... all the reason why QB and OL play will be super important.
