That mindset is why LSU loses underclassmen to the draft that Bama doesn’t.

Devonta can ball, but I’m taking Chase if I had to choose. Chase is just more of a physical presence. He’s so strong in the air and after the catch.

Much better?

Y'all are underrating the shite out of devonta smith

He looks unassuming but is probably faster than chase.

It's going to be interesting what gms do. I think its going to be close.
Both are elite receivers

They will both be really good NFL players. I like Chase’s style of play, so I’d go with him based on my preference. Chase is stronger and that will be an advantage in press man coverage.

Smith is a great player. He’s a technician. I think he’ll probably time better than Chase. He reminds me of Calvin Ridley on the falcons. But on the field, Chase is just a true number 1 receiver. He bullies corners. He’s more of a force than Smith.

Chase is better but if I’m a GM I’m drafting Smith. I don’t want someone who will quit on the team when the future is looking bleak. I wish Chase the best but all the opt outs should pay for it by losing draft stock

I can see it going either way, just depends on what the teams need.

Chase had Marshall, Jefferson, Moss and CEH on the field at the same time making it harder for defenses to cover him.

Smith only had Metchie and Harris and Smith still dominated

Chase. The NFL doesn’t care about college fans feelings about a player opting out. They’ll look at the raw talent and ceiling and choose the best player. It’s not like there’s off field issues for chase, that would be a scouts concern.

Chase has footwork that allows quicker stops and turns. We will have to wait to see their times at the combine as chase has been working on his speed and that could be the difference as both catch all balls around them

And waddle and ruggs, and Jeudy. What’s your point? Alabama has had plenty of weapons to draw single coverage assignments since Smith has been there.

Chase. Amazing that Louisiana produced Chase, Jetts, Devonta and Marshall in three years.

Smith will go first, because Bama will win another championship....

But Chase will be the best receiver, in the draft and NFL, it's effortless for him to be successful and his body control is absolutely superior to anything i've ever seen

But Najee Harris will be the one that impacts the NFL the most next year, dude is a FREAK OF NATURE MONSTER
and

EFF BAMA (just in case some of you fools, want to call me a bama fan or whatever)
