What kind of PT/rehab can he do during the recovery to keep his strength and stamina up? If he's in a boot the whole time, it's not realistic to expect him to step right back in at a high level.

I don't see why he couldn't have a boot usable in a pool. But what do I know.

Here's a reference NY Rangers player broke his fibula last year on 9/24. Came back to full go 11/7. Right at 6 weeks.

A clean break and fracture are diff so if it's only a fracture that's actually good.

He's gonna miss Auburn. And we won't need him against eastern Mich or Syracuse. 7+ weeks is @USC. Hopefully he will be back for that at 100%

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not.

When I saw the SDS article headline I thought it might've been about Beckwith.

Huge sigh of relief now.

A clean full break I'm saying as a opposed to a hairline fracture

It's not incredibly optimistic, it's realistic. See my last post. You can even wear a boot while it's healing, probably better to wear a boot actually.

I'm just trying to remember the name of the LSU RB who broke his collar bone and everyone said he would be ready for the bowl game in a few weeks. I posted that he would not. He didn't play for the bowl game.

Bones knit at different rates but the initial report on the RB was way too optimistic. Hope this is not the case with Mills.

Well yeah, a clean break and a hairline fracture are different. But without the adjectives, the two mean the same thing.

Shouldn't need a boot for pool workouts.

Unfortunate to have this happen, could've been a lot worse. Rough to watch but I expect him back out in 5 weeks max! Wishing the best to you Jalen

I mean we're mainly laypersons here, so we don't have to get technical.
