Purchasing tickets for Premier League games?
Posted by CarpetbaggerFBP on 12/7/15 at 3:54 pm
Has anyone here actually attended a game? I'm going to be in Manchester for 3 weeks in December/January and would like to attend a United and City game. I'm trying to figure out how to purchase tickets, it seems like i can only really get tickets through the club website. Is it worth it to become a "member"?
Any info from people who have been over there would be great.

Very possible they lose those games. Not likely but very possible.

I believe he said Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, and kentucky? maybe
He had Missouri as the 5th team.

5 losses for Georgia that are "hard to argue against."
Dude made it sound like Georgia losing to Alabama is almost a guarantee. Alabama will have a QB making his first true road start. ESPN's FPI gives Alabama a 33% chance to win that game.
Well the other person on the show (me) has them finishing 2nd with only 2 losses

Here's a reference NY Rangers player broke his fibula last year on 9/24. Came back to full go 11/7. Right at 6 weeks.

ou do understand that long passes are going to account for a larger percentage of yards than an equal number of short and intermediate passes, correct? Specifically, if 11% of his passes are 20+ yards, you didn't expect that same 11% to account for 11% of his passing yards, did you?
The point i was trying to make was that 89% of his passes accounted for 48% of his yards. That's not good QB play
Jennings Long Passes Last Yr

I've been rewatching a lot of games from last year and i started to notice that Jennings had a lot of long completions.
So i went back and counted all of his completions over 20 yards. It's kind of staggering what i found.
Jennings had 21 passes account for 838 yards. Thats 11% of his completions accounted for 52% of his total yards. To me that points to a QB who is poor at his mid range throws. Which are crucial to being successful. Especially on 3rd down.
Am I accurate in this thinking that you'd rather have a QB who hammers the short to intermediate passes while getting some long balls? and not mostly deep balls?

Both. There's two different people in the show offering two different opinions

You're coming at the wrong guy. I only questioned if they can win 10 games with a ground and pound offensive style.

Don't remember saying Josh Dobbs was the real deal. Questioned if he could play well for an entire season.

Our production quality isn't quite great yet. As you can see there's supposed to be an intro for the first 2 minutes or so. Didn't quite work out
