Ok, after a nights rest, I have a few honest questions.

When does knocking on someone's door become harassment? If he answered, told her to duck off, closed the door in her face AT HIS RESIDENCE, and she continues to knock.

Don't we all beg and plead that our players be at their home at 2 am?

If there was a fight between women (one being his girlfriend) and one of the women would have been severely hurt, wouldn't we all be condemning any men who didn't step in and seperate them? Isn't it a crime at some point if you stand by and watch a felony being committed?

None of us know all the facts and I sure want him absolutely GONE if he hit a woman, but if it's proven he was stopping a fight, all I see is a player doing exactly what we expect ANY able bodied man to do.

Eh, maybe. In really narrow circumstances you can be held liable for not helping, such as if you are a doctor walking down the street and you see someone lying there dying and you just ignore them and go about your day. Your special skills could have saved that life and it wouldn't have reasonably set you back to stop, check on them, call for help, etc. It almost never happens though.

However, nothing requires you to intervene in something like a fight... As far as the law goes, it's always best just to stay out of it both for safety's sake and liability's sake.

Also reporting there were apparently a number of witnesses and they are refuting the original girl's story that Mills did anything wrong.

There needs to be a massive crow-eating thread once he's cleared. Idiots.

Lol. Good luck with that. The one's calling for Mills' head yesterday and today will likely just move on to some conspiracy about boosters paying off witnesses or some shite.

And the world keeps spinning.

So he didn't sucker punch a stranger for just knocking on his door?

Color me shocked.

Yes, in the real world, no "good Samaritan" laws as depicted in the final episode of Seinfeld.

As incompassionate as it sounds, sometimes it is best not to get involved.

He did not get arrested for the actions that transpired that night, he was arrested for not showing up at an appointment with the police to tell his side of the story

you've said this several times in multiple threads. it's not correct, in any way. that's not how it works, sorry. i'm telling you as someone who handles such things in the course of my profession. so please cure your own ignorance and accept the fact that his not talking to investigators had zero to do with his being charged with the crime, ZERO

her name is required to be in the warrant by law. also must be in the formal indictment if one is filed.
