If this happened in May, why is he being picked up in mid June? Does he have a side to this? Damn, we don't need this

I don't typically blame the coaching staff, and I'm only going to partially do this now, but how the hell do you let your player miss a court ordered meeting leading to a felony search warrant. I know this is mainly Mills responsibility, but with our recent run of law breaking impact players, shouldn't somebody have been on his arse to make this meeting?
Coaches are allowed minimal contact with.players after spring and before fall camp. They may not be allowed to have contact at all unless attending summer classes.
But when I have had court I didn't need my daddy calling me and driving me there to make sure I went. These kids need to grow the frick up and show responsibility for their own actions. I will never blame a coaching staff for shite like this that happens in the off season.

The timing is odd. May 4th 1 a.m. was Saturday night-Sunday morning, I believe right between dead week and finals. Probably nothing but seems to remove the idea of some wild night out gone bad. Then again, crazy knows no bounds.

He didn't miss a court date. He didn't go to a voluntary meeting that he had scheduled with investigators. Which was actually a good move.

hilarious this got a downvote. a lot of people really don't know how the legal system works and what you are and are not required to do by law and what can actually be used in court

Mills staying out of town while this unfolds is just sketchy as frick. No normal citizen would be given that kind of privilege if what he was accused of is actually true.
Yes they would. He was not charged until recently, no warrant issued for his arrest until the 10th I believe. So when he got back they scooped him up. he was not on the run, was not evading police. As far as I know BRPD has no jurisdiction in Houston

Agreed, but you know people just down vote for the fun of it. Who cares

"The offseason mishaps continue. Miles has lost control of his players yet again."
This statement is ignorant on so many levels!

No shite sherlock.
And that's the divide on this board.
Half make excuses for bad behavior simply bc they play sports at LSU.
Other half just wish guys that are at LSU for basically one reason (play ball) could act right and stay eligible.
I hope mills is innocent and this is all false accusations.

It's whatever. A lot of people made up their mind about Mills the second they read the thread title. It's ridiculous, but that's their choice. Luckily, none of them are in law enforcement (that I know of).

Not sure where you're seeing this. Most everyone that isn't already throwing him under the bus is simply saying "let's wait and see."

Most readers understand that we've only heard one side of the story. With some of the posters getting feathers ruffled, maybe its time to point it out.
