Luckily, none of them are in law enforcement (that I know of).
unfortunately i've had to deal with several of law enforcement officers who do just that. had an arresting officer recently tell me that he didn't understand why grand juries ever brought back a no bill because "they only arrest people who are guilty as sin." sure thing buddy

Not sure where you're seeing this. Most everyone that isn't already throwing him under the bus is simply saying "let's wait and see."
Yeah, pretty sure we're all just advocating the "innocent until proven guilty" standard that is pretty much ignored in these threads

What?
Not trying to be a dick, but what does this have to do with my previous post?

I'm a wait and see person too.
But how/where do you think the term team sweep generated?
Same issues and conversations when TM , JJ , JHill and whichever else situations all arose.

The offseason mishaps continue. Miles has lost control of his players yet again.
Why can't young adults just control themselves?

"Innocent until proven guilty" is the constitutionally mandated legal presumption. It is not a "thought police" standard that precludes people from expressing opinions based on whatever personal knowledge, life experience, hateful racial or cultural bias, or other motivations they may have.

You didn't say anything wrong here. I guess I'm just a little puzzled why someone would, by default, choose the side of the alleged victim. Of course, that is their right, I just don't get it.

I guess if you can't make a civil and rational post in response to a post you disagree with, just downvote it, huh?

I guess some people just see the word "victim" and immediately empathize with them before the whole story is out. I could link several stories of people who were innocent but were incarcerated anyway because of a fabricated story the "victim" made up. Not saying that's necessarily what happened here of course, but that's why it's dangerous to start make presumptions about someone's guilt/innocence before it plays out.

So...@MattMoscona Source tells me Jalen Mills' girlfriend will admit to punching alleged victim and Mills will be cleared.

UPDATE (With plot twist!): Apparently Mills girlfriend is admitting to police she actually hit the victim and that Mills did not touch the victim... Interesting...

Obstruction of justice is a crime. Hope she isn't lying

How can they prove otherwise? Unless a witness comes forward. It's their word against hers
Posted on 6/11/14 at 3:44 pm to TampaTiger22
Yea but there is a witness

shite just got really interesting... Did he cover for her the whole time until she found out how serious it was? Or is she really covering for him in an effort to not see his eligibility go down the drain? Really weird stuff. I kinda thought it was a possibility the girlfriend really got into it with the victim and busted her lip, but all that coming out now is sketchy. Oh boy, dis gun be good.
