So let's say Jalen Mills is gone. We have Martin,Jefferson & Paris behind him. My money is own Jefferson in this situation.

There's a thread for the tards to discuss this exact thing if you want to go play with them.

Amen. Ive heard the victims story as well as Mills now. Her lip was busted by him, according to both sides of the story. How it occurred is very much up for debate, and yes it does dictate how the case goes and what he will be charged with. It could be an accident or it could be on purpose. But as soon as the news breaks he was arrested people label him a tPOS, want him off the team, and start speculating who replaces him. Those unrealistic reactions makes me hate this place and our world today. Rash decisions are always sound and factual...

Preach brother

The way I see it he would be really really dumb to ever hit a girl on purpose and say it was an accident thinking it wouldn't come out, and she would be equally as dumb to exaggerate an accidental contact to try and get him in trouble thinking it wouldn't come out. Someone in this story is being really stupid, the question is which one?

Of course, he needs to be arrested for the attorney to represent him.

no he doesn't

I can see how that came out wrong, I meant to get a free one, if he needs that. That's why I explained I'm sure he doesn't have $5k sitting around to hire one before the interview. And of course, it would be a violation if an LSU attorney would do it for free....

Look, I have ZERO doubt Miles knew this was coming and I have even less doubt that he was instructed not to be at that meeting. They had a victim with a witness. All they were doing was an information grabbing interview before they arrest him....the decision to arrest him was made already.

Very smart move for him not to show.

I can't wait to see all the crawfishing people do when the truth comes out... Jae is not a thug or a savage or a POS and the people who are jumping to conclusions without all of the FACTS are dead wrong

frick man, I hope he's innocent. I hope he's cleared, the chick and witness are exposed and jailed(assuming they are lying), Jalen wins the Heisman and is drafted in the first round, is an NFL MVP, lives a good life, marries a nice woman and raises good kids and dies at age 90 with a smile on his face from the life of substance and value he lived.

But that doesn't mean you can ignore or not be frustrated with the things as they appear now.

You've come a long way from calling him a savage and saying he should be digging ditches with little to no information. Good on you.

So lay out the cliffs of both. Some of us aren't judging yet, but still want to hear both sides.

I can respect this. I retract my previous post calling you a dumbass. Maybe you were just frustrated earlier in the thread. I think we can agree that we all are.

bingo. the less information they have to charge, the better. will be better for him once this goes to the GJ. they obviously had enough to charge him without his cooperation.

UPDATE (From Sports Today on 104.5): Hanagriff said Mills disputes how the girls lip became busted. He says Mills is claiming the two girls were in an argument, Mills got between the two girls to break it up, and accidentally hit the victim with his elbow while trying to break up the argument.

^^^ I posted that on Page 18, halfway down. OP needs to update the OP.

while it would be nice if those filing false charges are charged accordingly, it very rarely happens. not worth the prosecutor's time in a DV case.

Why did it take him forever to communicate with authorities on the issue?

Again. It serves him no propose. If he says that before he's arrested, he's still getting arrested because he's admitting to striking the woman.

He was in Houston up until yesterday. And likely didn't want to do or say anything without a lawyer, which is smart and 100% legal.

What the hell difference does this make? Does waiting to talk to authorities change his guilt or innocence?
