what are the chances like someone from BAMA or ATM paid some chick to mess with him? I know its far fetched but could it be possible schools mastermind shite like this to get players on opposing teams suspended, etc..

He punched a woman in the face, what more do you really need to know?
Maybe the fact that he actually could not have done it?

Then they probably take out the QB or Fournette, not a safety where we have depth anyway.
Take off the P&G glasses. Nobody from Alabama hired a girl to take a chin check from a LSU player.

You forgot to add "just kidding" after this utter ridiculousness.

just a stupid thought is all!

I'll admit to an over generalization when I said "never" hit a woman. Unless my or my family's life was in jeopardy, I don't see a reason for it. I'm no white knight, but I do have some values. Now, IF he indeed punched her, and IF she didn't have a weapon or have his life in jeopardy, he should be gone.
When our collective knees stop jerking, it will be easier to determine.

Ive been in and seen a few fights, never seen anyone knocked out that got hit in the mouth. Not saying it didn't happen just never seen that
Seen a lot of fights between a football player and a 5', 113lb girl? If she got knocked out from the fall even, it's all the same.

Really this is one of those situations where no matter how it gets spun, it doesn't sound good.

Lot of people on this board could use some legal vocabulary lessons:
Alleged =/= Actually happened
Charged with a crime =/= convicted of a crime
Missing a meeting with investigator =/= Admissible indicator of guilt/innocence
*** Though he shouldn't have missed it, some of you are acting like he hasn't been cooperating for weeks... kid just got back in town, missed the meeting yesterday and was arrested for it a couple hours later. Maybe he missed it because he thinks he's innocent and was being stubborn. Maybe he missed it because he was scared and didn't know what to do. None of us know, so stop making judgments.
Every person that reads that police report should have the initial reaction of "WTF, that makes no sense." Everyone here should reserve their judgment until our legal system (which is thankfully not made up of posters on the rant) hashes out how it went down. Perhaps it's all true, in which case he should be punished accordingly. Until he's had his due process, grow up and stop prosecuting the poor kid and calling him a tPOS.

This seems like what happened.
The tricky part of it is having him hold out his arm and clinch his fist.....then she gets a running start and slams her head into it. That explains why they were in the hallway.
But you know, the SEC office IS in Birmingham, they wont do anything about it, a letter should be sent demanding an investigation anyway.

It's admirable you always try to defend due process for the players and whatnot, but sometimes you have to call a spade a spade.
Nice. But expected from you. Real deep innuendo my man. Real deep.

Upvoted you. Ordinary people don't understand how often the original claims are later found to have not been exactly and completely true. In a situation like this, you have to wait for the process to work. On the other hand, a lot of those who want to punish the kid will claim that there was some undue influence involved if the facts eventually justify dismissal or reduction of the charges.
