I'm not advocating for dirty play to be clear. But their star QB is on a bum knee and their 2 year starter at backup could be out. Get after Tua, hit him hard (legally), make him scramble out of the pocket on that knee. If his knee/Hurt's absence is a weakness/limiting factor for Alabama...flush it out and expose it.

Again, not advocating for our guys to play dirty and take shots at his knee. More so saying that with a bad knee and no Hurts...we need to make that a factor in how Bama plays. They don't want Tua running, maybe Tua himself is hesitant to run after tweaking his knee on a slide.

Off the top of my head, how about Spurrier,Bert Jones,Namath,Stabler for their era and I could go on.

I'll believe it when he shows up in street clothes at kickoff.

"Has Tiger Stadium ever seen a more successful QB (statistically) than Tua?"

Tebow had some ridiculous numbers when he was throwing to Percy Harving and co.

I agree. He doesn't want Aranda spending as much time on the preparation required to defend Hurts in case Saban has to use him.

We're not that great at rushing the passer with 4 down linemen.

If we blitz Tua will pick us apart.

i say this BS and nothing more than Saban playing with LSU and how they prepare their game plan.
It might be Tau who is questionable and he doesn't want LSU to prepare for Hurt.

Very suspicious. Never remember him announcing player injuries two weeks in advance, barely says anything days in advance

Tua plays to our strengths anyway.

I would love an explanation of this.

Doesn't Tua have a bad knee?
No.
Watching him Saturday, the "sprained knee thing was complete BS. Don't know exactly what his "injury" was, but Tua was fully mobile against UT. Given an additional two weeks he'll be 100%.

Frankly, the Hurts "high ankle sprain" "injury" smells of BS as well.
