72% passing completion percentage this year, 60% career.

You guys take things too far, as usual.

I dont want the guy at all. But folks are insane acting as if he is some terrible qb. He is an absolute baller. His passing skills are mediocre, but his running ability makea him a huge threat. He doesnt compare to Tua, but really very few do.

He would easily start at most P5 schools without an already established elite qb.

Would certainly have no chance against Saban with him running the offense.

Except for the time he threw for 2,800 yards and 23 touchdowns which alone would have been one of the best seasons for an LSU QB in the last 10 seasons. But you can add in another 950 yards plus 13 touchdowns on the ground that season.

Yes I'd take him. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool. A 2 year starter who's had success in the SEC. Absolute take. He doesn't set the world on fire through the air but he's competent enough and is an absolute playmaker with his legs.

This guy may not be Drew Brees. But if you don't think he is a good college quarterback ,you lost your mind

Because he's a better eusher than any rusher we have! He can throw if he needs to, may not be great passer but equal to what we've had in years.

I’d take him as a running back. He’s 6’1-6’2 215lbs, squats about 500 and runs a 4.5. He has great ball carrier vision and elusiveness as well.

So who would welcome him to LSU if this ends up happening with Jalen?
Why would he transfer to sit behind Burrow?

Our incompetent OC would have absolutely zero idea whatsoever how to utilize him.

Because has over 5400 yards in his Career with 46 touchdowns and only 12 picks. Career rating of 147.6 Oh yeah, that's if u dont even count another 2000 rushing and 22 more scores

And he could do none of that at LSU.

AT ALABAMA. Remember, this is the same Alabama that made Jake Coker look like a competent QB.

Jalens a great kid. U could do a lot worse with a guy like him on your team. Stays out of trouble, humble, great student and can get u some wins. LSU would do great with him. He's only gonna go somewhere where he's a qb but would be cool to see jalen and what he could do there.

if les miles would've had jalen hurts, he'd still be hc at LSU. jalen is what miles wanted jj to be.

that said, jalen isn't the guy we're looking for.

i think brennan will be fine. not many qbs with a release and arm like him.

he'll be starting as a 21 year old rsjr. hopefully over 200 lbs.

While I don’t think he’d look at LSU because of the scheme, if he wanted to go there he’d be your starter next year and secure a pretty solid foundation for an offense around a lot of existing talent. He’s been a no drama locker room guy as well. He’s actually looked good throwing the ball inlimited action this year, definitely improved over years past.

I suspect he ends up at a group of 5 school in Texas or somewhere like Kansas State that has a history of qb option play for his last season

It's funny how some people think Hurts would clearly sit behind Burrow. The reality is Hurts is better than Haskins, you know, the guy that Burrow sat behind and would've never started over. Hurts is currently better than any QB on our roster. Fans may THINK Brennan will pan out but you never know in the SEC. Hurts is a PROVEN starter and that's a FACT! I assure you this coaching staff would jump at the chance to get Hurts. When your O-line can't block well, it would be dumb to not think an elusive QB that can run wouldn't be an improvement. Burrow can run BUT NOTHING LIKE HURTS! Stop being dumb and butt hurt.
