That shows his talent level. Didn’t even go to a P5

No such thing as P5

The AAC is consistently one of the 2 best mid major conferences in America

He might've wanted to stay close to home but it's a bottom of the AAC program that hasn't gone to the tourney is 25 years.

Not necessarily.

The fact that he picked tulane so quickly probably means he wants to be close to home.

Tulane isn't a great basketball school anymore. I do like their coach though

AAC is consistently in the 5-7 range in conference RPI

The top half of the conference is better than any mid major conference in America. Even the WCC with Gonzaga dominating

This is a good get for Tulane. He can play immediately, right?

The point is that the AAC is a step down from LSU. Going to the 2nd worst team in the league is a significant step down

That’s a great deflection after you actually looked up who is in that league

The American stunk this year, but 2-3 years ago it was a very solid league. There was a year it was probably the 5th best league in America.

Yes, Tulane stinks, but he could potentially play against some good to great competition. Houston and Wichita should both be really good next season. Memphis will be a tournament team, too. It could be a 4-bid league.

Obviously it is a step down from the SEC. No one is arguing against that!

That’s a fair assessment of the AAC but a misleading one of Tulane lol. Tulane has no business being in the AAC in basketball. Tulane ya the 4th or 5th best collegiate basketball program in Louisiana

I didn’t say anything about Tulane. Just the idea that mid major is something negative. The league is good & he will be challenged. If he is thrives, he will have earned it.

Hunter's already sliced Tulane NET in almost half. He should have a top 100ish team real soon.

Tulane are the classic example of a program that didn't care about the sport 10 years ago (and is now trying to catch up WAY TOO LATE).

Hunter is building an island of misfit toys - sorta like the ones from Toy Story.
