Just saw another tweet saying that sources say he will likely enter the NFL draft.

For reports surfacing abt #LSU CB Jalen Collins declaring for the draft, SID Michael Bonnette told me "I haven't heard anything about that."

My honest thoughts are, good for him. Of the early entrants, he is the one I would like to see make the jump. He did a lot this year to make the jump and im not sure how much he would have the opportunity to improve his stock.

I would be happy for him, but don't think he will go.

Yahoo Sports is calling him a "lock" to leave early.

He's gone. He'll run a 4.4, jump a 37 and get drafted fairly high

If he goes I'll be hoping for the best for him; if he stays, I'll be thrilled. Is/was/will remain? a great LSU tiger.

He's also listed at 6'2" and (just under) 200 lbs. Physically he is what NFL teams want in a CB. Him running down Melvin Gordon from behind will show scouts all they need to know about his speed.

He has all the tools and he is a very high character guy. God knows the NFL could use that.

I can't imagine him improving his draft stock. Good luck to him. I think this is the right decision for him.

Will miss him next year. As with every underclassman with this decision; I hope it was the right one.

Ed Paris has some shoes to fill doesn't he?
