Will Grier is a great college QB, and that is Holgorsens offense. Let’s not give this guy too much credit

This is not football you’re watching.

There’s more defense in an NBA All Star game.

It’s truly an embarrassment to the sport.

And conference. I'm not sure any team in Big 12 uses scholarships on defensive players. May all be walk ons

That's true. That being said, this scheme and QB development would make us near unstoppable with Aranda here too and recruiting top 10 classes. sigh....

Aranda would hate it and leave. Has been proven again and again when good SEC teams play these offenses, that it's gimmicky and doesn't work. To many fast 3 and outs...D would have to play too many snaps. Aranda would want no part of that.
Gus Ran this offense before coming to SEC, unstoppable wide open stuff. Worked one year, when he had Cam. Like someone else said...right QB much more important than the play caller

Agree on QB. But Grier has developed at WVU. Many of these QB's that seem great are developed. That's where we are substandard. i know the horse is dead stop beating it

He has already proven to be a failure in the SEC. We can do better.

It was three years ago. It isn’t like he’s been apprenticing for a decade since then.

Why was Grier so good then as a freshman, at such an early stage of “development”?

But, I can understand it in college.

Now, on the other hand, that Rams and Chiefs game the other night was an embarrassment to the sport. Those defenses were horrendous. Pro defenses shouldn't be that bad, regardless of the offense they're facing. They had wide open WRs all night. Looked just like this game.

The dude had 2 five star quarterbacks at A&M, was an absolute disaster and got fired. He now coaches for a team with a future first round draft pick at QB with a head coach who has run that system for years in a league that doesn’t play defense. Be better than this

Hell no. He was terrible at A&M very recently and the Aggies were more than happy when he left. He's doing well right now because the hc is a damn good offensive coach and the big 12 forgets defense is a thing.
