Clean pocket almost every play.
How is the OC to blame when there was a WR open on almost every play and he could not release the ball.
The OC didn't fumble and didn't throw an interception.
The QB made a mistake each time we had an opportunity to take control of the game.
He throws late or not at all when the play is there to succeed.

We are doing seven man protection and three man routes. Cannot even keep him clean with seven man blocking… no separation by receivers.

Pootz has ruined Coach O because O hired him and he couldn't handle the job.

It's safe to say Peetz will never be an offensive coordinator at a major college ever again.
Oregon saw to that. Brady recommended Peetz. I'm not convinced O is not solely reasonable for everything that sucked that last 2 years.

Fire the OC mid season. Brilliant!

He gets hammered because of poor blocking much more often than he gets good blocking. He was thrown to the wolves too soon, and he has performed better that most would.

He will never be an above average QB. He seems to have a very slow processor and a noodle arm. Unless you considered JJ an above average QB

I’ve said this many times, seems the offense fit Max better last year. It was perfect for him. This year it looks like we trying to fit a square piece in a round hole

Thanks for sharing. Completely different QB. He’s hitting tight windows with accuracy. It’s his mechanics. He’s stepping into the throw, and his arm strength looks fine because of the mechanics.

Look at Burrow, a decent QB, then LSU gets a new OC, Joe Brady, and we get a NC in 2019.
A lot of idiots believe Brady made Burrow.
Brady is at Carolina, in his second year,
Who is having a better season, the Carolina quarterback or Burrow?
Brady gave Burrow a playbook. Burrow executed. Not many QBs could have done it at that level.

Blame it on Peetz all you want but Max is not very good
Posted on 11/7/21 at 11:04 pm to Lsuhoohoo
he has definitely regressed

One of my favorite things about Max in 2020 was his ability to create timely scrambles
One thing you blocked out about Max in 2020 was him scrambling 10 yards backfield and getting sacked
We all just read too much into the Florida and Ole Miss game.
One where he wasn’t special and another where Boutte dominated.

Clueless,
If you think Peetz coached Johnson into bad footwork, slow decisions.
Fact is Johnson NEVER was an above average running QB. Look at his HS stats. Brennan's running yards were almost 4 X's that of Johnson's. And according to the Rant he (Brennan) can't run.

Incredible how bad Peetz is.
Only 3 more games and it's over.
