Just like Frey vs lefties. If you could combine them you'd have the best player in college baseball.

Dispute the fact that Pearson is hitting left handed pitching better than Brown. This isn't an opinion.

Pearson has hit .333 vs LHP. Brown definitely isn’t near that

Yall keep stating it but has anyone posted the splits to back it up? Ben McDonald made a comment about Brown hitting “about 200 against lefties” and this board has been shitting on Brown since. Pearson’s SEC BA is 67 points lower than Brown’s right now. So if he better against LHP, that means Pearson’s BA against righties is far below .200 and he should NEVER bat against a RHP again. I’d also like to see Frey vs RHP and Curiel vs LHP.

Pearson hits lefties better than Brown that's why he switches them out.

Speaking of facts Pearson has 7 RBIs in SEC play despite batting in the 3 thru 5 holes almost exclusively and has exactly 1 hit with runners in scoring position in SEC play and has started 21 games Brown has 23 rbis in 15 games started. So you going to really argue Pearson should be starting over Brown. Per Ben Mcdonald when Curiel Stanfield and Brown are in the outfield that's like having 3 centerfielders!!

Three average center fielders. Out OF D isn’t good by LSU standards.

As of last Saturday Brown was hitting .207 against lefties. I believe it have gone down since then. Lester posted that Pearson’s is batting .333 against lefties. Thats a substantial difference.

This all depends on how many at bats each of them has had against RHP and LHP.

Hitting is 90% mental. I prapose Mr. Brown just pretend lefties are actually rightys and BOOM! We may have a player of the year on our hands! I used to dabble in sports sychiatry so I think im on to something!

He’s averaging a HR every 12 ABs against SEC competition (6 HR in 74 ABs). Be surprised if that is not Top 10 or even Top 5. He’s leading the team in slugging against SEC foes, over .100 higher than the next guy. And he’s only 0.002 behind Curiel for the high avg against SEC teams. He’s played his best against the best competition.

You think Ben just made that up. He’s reading it straight from the stat sheet

Or Jay could let him hit against lefties so he could improve.
Brown has had nearly the same number of ABs vs lefties as Pearson the only player you would sub him in for because of the position and simply because Frey is your best hitter especially versus lefties.

Jake is hitting <.200 vs lefties or right there. Pearson is hitting above his average of lefties vs righties ie reverse splits.

WHY IS THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND?
