I could see him coming back for the following reasons.

1) He wants to have the big time college football experience which he didnt get with the empty stadiums
2)He thinks his NFL future is in a hybrid S/LB role and would come back to put that position on film ala the Jacoby Stevens role.

These are the kind of guys LSU loses and bama gets to come back. If O wants to break the cycle, he needs to make this happen.

That is not what was said. More along the lines of he is considering which is a whole lot different than he’s returning. I would advise you not to hold your breath.

He has no reason to come back unless he just loves being a college player.

Don't know if he'll come back, but he might want to have the real major college football experience coming from an FCS school and experiencing terrible, empty stadiums all year (especially Tiger Stadium).

We do this every year.

There is no way he is coming back.

He came from a lower division to prove he could play with the best and he did that.

He has absolutely nothing to gain and a lot to lose by returning.

He seemed to disappear earlier in the season with this defense, but he was awesome last Saturday night and has gotten better and better. He was covering like a corner when he wasn't stopping guys at the line of scrimmage in The Swamp.

Unlike Stevens, Cox has the coverage skills to play that position without being a liability against high-powered passing attacks.

If true, this is exactly what we need, leaders to stay and finish the job, we need a leader who can lead on and off the field

If we can pull him and the others back, next year can be special and he could play himself into a really really high draft pick.

lack of ability of the average ranter to identify talent is shocking

Now I am truly not sure if this is a serious posts but it seems you are definitely triggered. Besides Collins being a second round draft pick. The others were 7th round picks and below. If you would advise any junior that's not a certain 3rd rounder or above to forgoe their senior year, Your intelligence is shockingly low. Also LaCouture is working as a grad assistant, so I not sure your point there. Now if clark stays for another year, he can benefit greatly next year. But you clearly are so smart and think he should leave? You havent been watching games this year. He has the potential, but he is really losing out on a higher paycheck if he decides to leave this year. Average NFL career is 3 years. Would advise getting that upfront money before anything else. So yes I will keep laughing at how stupid you are

Why does Bama succeed in bringing back LBers like Moses who are projected 1st round, and it seems we are surprised when Cox considers this. Perhaps he considers that college ball, despite the risks of injury and not being paid, may be an experience he may never have again....and I am sure his appetite for such was part of the reason he came to LSU after the NC season!

Moses, Smith, Najee and the Big OL were all projected 2nd round last year. Saban told them here is what you need to work on and here is how He(they) could help them work on their games to get to the 1st round. I think Smith is the one who improved his stock, I still think Moses, Najee and Leatherwood are 2nd round picks, but I am not an NFL GM.

He's coming to the Senior Bowl. I wish him the best. I didn't think he lived up to his reputation, but hopefully he will find an NFL where he can thrive!

Really? That would be huge, he is probably a second round guy now and honestly was expecting him to go pro. But hell he might earn himself a 1st round grade too. Really kind of funny the 3 transfers we recruited are becoming the best leaders and most loyal tigers lol.
