...but did anyone else catch his comment that "Fromme has come out smoking this game" before he had even completed a single pass? And so many names being mispronounced, maybe even more than the usual for him.

It's bad. I almost forget about it until they come on the air. Re-watch the touchdown review. It pained him to say it was a catch. The sadness in his voice was obvious. Hard to watch. Hopefully CBS will lose the bid with the SEC once the contract is up.

What ticked me off was when he said "ooh wow...they're really going to attempt a field goal here?" Like Cade couldn't boot it from 50 yards. So glad he made that one and made Gary look dumb

He had several mispronunciations yesterday. I don’t recall specifically what they were. He doesn’t seem as sharp for sure. I will say that by games end he was on the Joe Burrow bandwagon and pimping us for #1.

Agree. I think he does a great job and calls it like he sees it. Has he lost a step. Sure. It's called age. But he's still one of the best, I think. I could do without the 4 hour games on CBS, though. I know, I know. Downvote away. Don't give a shite.

I don't hate Gary Danielson like many here seem to do.
Yesterday he declared Joe the Heisman winner and LSU number one.
If you hang on to every word of a commentator, who is calling the game with two teams involved, he's always going to say something favorable about the opponent at some time.

Actually he did. Those passes in the first few drives were money but they were dropped. After that, he went cold
