Yep. 1993 on Jefferson Pilot Sports. I was 12.

One of the greatest days in my sports fandom.

Hopefully LSU can pull off another victory like that this year.

Early spreads I've seen are -6.5 to -9.5.

You can't see LSU overcoming that? If not how can you call yourself a fan?

No one is saying it's in the bag, but that spread suggests a close one score game.

I'm curious, El Chapo...were you saying the same about the Astros this year? Unless you've been buried under a cartel rock, everyone (it's even been on a few sports shows) knows that the offense is different than years past. That's Latin for "it's not the same." That doesn't mean we are guaranteed a win, but it certainly doesn't warrant previous game results defining what is going to happen on 11/9.

AZKiger, touché on the delusional comment. You really flipped that one around on me.

Have you seen the last seven regular season games against Bama?

Nick Saban is in LSU’s head in a major way.

Until he steps down, I don’t think LSU can beat Bama.

Last year was one of the worst.

#1Alabama vs #3 LSU in Tiger Stadium.

No reason this game shouldn’t be competitive, right?

29-0.

That’s why I feel the way I do.

To see other LSU fans think this year’s outcome will be different, and to see them feel this way with such confidence, I feel bad for them.

I hope I’m sitting in the Butthole on Dec 7 watching LSU play in the SECCG, but I highly doubt it.

during this 8game skid we should have won at least 3-4 of the games.

WHAT?

We got the shite beaten out of us 6 times, and had two close games. And we should not have won those two close ones. At the end, when it was nut cutting time, the better team took over the game.

Did any of you watch last year’s 29-0 debacle? We are less than one year removed from that monstrosity, but people here act like it didn’t happen

What happened before has zero bearing on this game.

You are the worst type of fan.

You are the type of fan that will be cheering and excited if LSU wins.

But you are also the type of fan that will relish in the "I told you so" if LSU loses.

You can't lose. And that makes you a piece of shite fan.

Nah baw, he's in your head though.

This is going to be a good game. You're just pissy because your Astros lost.

This is an absolute shite take! If you can’t see where this year is different, then there’s no hope for you.

1. LSU has an incredible offense. Don’t let last week’s struggles in the Red Zone tell you any different, this offense is elite.
2. Alabama is not the same on defense and are clearly not as dominant on that side of the ball. They are still very good, like LSU, but there are some holes and mismatches.
3. LSU has played 3 Top 10 matchups this year, which makes them much more battle tested. This is an advantage not discussed. There’s a reason coaches like to schedule difficult games; it allows for numerous scenarios that help the coaches correct mistakes and bad tendencies.

LSU - 41
Bama - 38
Burrow drives the offense down the field under 2 minutes and York kicks the game winning FG.

You've seen LSU ranked #1 with a Heisman front runner QB going to play bama before?

No you haven't you tard.
Pretty close: 2015 #2 LSU vs #4 Alabama with Fournette as the huge front runner for the Heisman going into that game.

last years team had injuries, a weak OL and was not putting up over 500 yrds offense. Bama might beat us, but this team does not resemble the previous 8. Plus I think this Bama team might a be a little weaker than the previous 8. They are dinged up and we are fairly healthy with decent depth

We'll see how close the game stats are...

I didnt think I'd have to spell out more than that but maybe I should have been more specific. Toss dives with an NFL running back wont beat bama. Thankfully Joe Burrow is an elite QB and not an elite RB. Our offense is night and day different from 2015.
