Watching at home, I couldn't tell...what really happened? Why did we not score on the second double?

It was 1 out. He had to hold up in case the ball was caught. Geez.

He originally went half way but then thought he was going to catch it so went back to tag, after he didn't catch it he was standing on 2nd base

just bad baserunning. he was basically on second base when the ball dropped.

He stayed at the bag to tag up since there was only one out, the ball should have been caught

It just makes no sense.. even if you are tagging.. you don't have to stand on 2nd.. because the momentum of the ball is going the opposite way.. the moment he misses it.. it's up against the farthest part of the wall.. he is by far our fastest base runner.. he should have scored.. but now we go conservative..

Come the frick on

It looked like the ball was going to be caught, so Freeman was most likely trying to tag up, putting him standing at 2nd as opposed to running.

The ball should have been caught. He had to hold up to see if it was caught. Not a base running mistake for a change.

With his speed he should have scored regardless.

Seemed as though he had to hold up too long waiting for the tag up....that ball looked like a fly out the whole time until ole boy took a jump for it....he may have been able to make it, but I'm sure they held him up thinking why press it with one out

Absolutely terrible! Cain may have cost us the game. That runner not scoring from 2nd base is pathetic

Freeman is the fastest guy on the team. The guy didn't get the ball in that quick. That was terrible.

Coastal sends their guy in the same spot, 109%

He is already in scoring position, did you realize it took the RF 5 seconds to pick up the ball...Cain is an absolute joke

That is not how you run the bases in that situation. You go half way between 2nd and 3rd, once the ball hit the wall Cole should have been in a position were he could have walked to home plate.

Thought OF was going to catch the ball hence he would have to stay back to tag 2nd to advance to 3rd. Still we cannot afford to strand any base runners in scoring position with how dismal our hitting has been.

Not bad baserunning. The RF should've caught it. He was somewhat camped, but misread it at the last second.

If he was thrown out at home you would have crucified Cain. The problem is Fraley didn't get the ball out of the infield or on the ground to the right side.

He has to score from second there, would take an absolutely perfect relay to throw Freeman out at home
