Has that ever happened before? A head coach on game day goes out of town to attend another college football game then comes back and coaches that night. Unfreakingbelievable. It’s almost comical.

Well, you can't accuse him of not being a caring father in this instance for going to see his son's last college game on senior day at 12 pm. He took a TAF plane, so it wasn't like he had the whole day tied up.

He is already fired and LSU's game was at 8 pm against a school that didn't really pose a major threat. And even though it has been a crappy season and it's time to move on, LSU hasn't packed it in. They were extremely close to winning both the Bama and Arkansas games. I don't really see an issue here.

LSU fans are so conditioned to mediocrity in 2 years that they don’t even realize how a functional program is supposed to act. We beat a 4-6 sunbelt team by 13 and our HC wasn’t present during walkthroughs. If the next coach does that he should probably be handed walking papers too.

He's already fired. They shouldn't still be gameplanning the morning of the game. Its not that big a deal.

OP: he's fired, it's his son's senior day, it's an hour away, it was ULM. Jesus. Come on man. Move on.

I get the feeling you sit around thinking of things to complain about. This situation isn't worthy of complaint.

He was able to do something for his son because the scheduled worked out. Good for him and good for his son.

Quit whining about something that doesn't matter in the least right now.

He probably doesn’t do that is LSU is playing Alabama but LSU was playing ULM and he knew LSU could sleepwalk through the game and win. And the players knew it too which is why LSU slopped to a 27-14 win.

I don’t have a problem with it. If LSU wanted a coach who cared about winning, they should’ve told Orgeron to kick rocks when they fired him.
