Gameday – What’s your Gameday routine? I either go to work or do something fun. Liquor is always involved. I live 2800 miles away from Tiger Stadium.

Alum: BA '81 PoliSci

Your Closet – Sanctioned LSU gear: not too much.
Bootlegged by a Frisbee team: shite tons!!

Your House – LSU shite hanging in my studio and game room but definitely not dedicated to lsu

Your Vehicle – Stickers? Vanity Plate? LSU alumni sticker and NOLA Saints Superbowl champs vanity plate!

Other: I want the Tiger to win!

Mark it 8, Dude.

Gameday – Home games, Friday night I load up tailgating equipment, and leave Metairie about 5am to get to campus and setup. For away games I throw on the jersey and cap and watch College Gameday over breakfast and prepare myself for football all day long.
Alum: N
Your Closet – About 50% of my clothes are LSU. I wear them mostly during the weekends and around the house, but I wear an LSU cap or visor every day, even at work.
Your House – I have plenty of memorabilia dating from 1931 to current. Signed and rare items. Unfortunately I had to shut down my man cave when my daughter was born and now all my stuff is stored in bins.
Your Vehicle – LSU letters on back window and license plate cover
Other: I am an LSU season ticket holder along with my brother. I also have over $1000 worth of tailgating equipment that I setup every home game.

Fan rating: 10. I absolutely am a passionate fan. My email addresses and all my passwords for everything is LSU related. Though once upon a time I used to get really angry and throw and break things when LSU lost. Losses would ruin my whole weekend. Since then I've learned to control my anger and turn my attention from things I can't control as a fan like the outcome of games, to things I have full control of, like teaching my kids different chants and cheers, and particularly throwing a nice tailgate to bring my friends and family together every home game. I find myself to be a much happier fan now.

to be honest I started as a saints fan and once I learned more about the game and the whole college system, I started watching and instantly fell in love with it. The whole passion, the tradition, just everything about it. It's unheard of to be passionate here in Australia about a sporting team. Seeing as LSU were in Louisiana and after watching the honey badger I instantly became a fan of the Tigers (2010). it's also a bonus to have been able to watch a few Aussies in brad wing, Jamie keehn and now Ben Simmons. Seeing as I read about it everyday I thought I better get over there and check out this October.

Aussie is a perfect example of why we should embrace our athletics. Yeah, the baseball season ended too abruptly, but this is a fan coming from across the world to embrace and experience what is LSU. And its the fans

Gameday – Always wear the same LSU shirt no matter what and I cannot put it on if the game has already started. I cannot sit down while play is live.

Alum: Not yet

Your Closet – I have 2 hoodies, golf jacket, dozens of t-shirts, 2 polis, golf shorts, 4 pair of LSU gym shorts, 2 jerseys, 3 hats, few socks, couple tank tops.

Your House – LSU stuff all over my house but no set room. Coasters, football, baseball, win bar.

Your Vehicle – Sticker on back window and emblem on tailgate.

Other - Golf covers, putter, canopy, corn hole boards.

There's probably more haha.

I'm a solid 9/10... I'm not a 10/10 because I don't do anything possible to make it to games... Sometimes it's just a game and dishing out 2-300 a ticket isn't in me.

Gameday – What’s your Gameday routine?- Saturday is a day for kid sports activities in our extended family, so it depends on what else is scheduled for the day. Tailgating is usually out, unfortunately. We try to stop somewhere and eat, if there's time. Often, Lea's in Lecompte. Sometimes Not Your Mama's in Livonia, or one of the joints near campus. Sometimes we literally get to our seats as pregame is starting and have to settle for concession stand food at halftime. The Jambalaya at TS is pretty damn good, BTW. Now that the kids are getting older, I hope we can start doing some tailgating again, or at least make a longer day out of it, but that depends on what the other people in my group want to do.

Alum: Y/N--Y. Third generation alum.

Your Closet – How many LSU clothing Items do you own and how often do you wear them? Enough polo and PFG shirts to wear a different one to every game without repeating, plus some miscellaneous T shirts, etc. I rarely wear LSU gear except on gameday-either to the game, or around the house if it's an away game.

Your House – Any LSU rooms or memorabilia-Some random stuff, but I'm not big on memorabilia. My dad has a lot of stuff in his office. Paintings, etc.

Your Vehicle – Stickers? Vanity Plate?-Nope. I used to have an Alumni decal but it peeled off and I haven't replaced it. Will probably get a personalized plate when I get a new vehicle.

Other: Anything Goes. My years at LSU were the best years of my life, bar none. I would do it all again without a second thought. Sometimes I think about finishing my PhD so I could go back and be a professor, but it probably wouldn't be the same.

Alum-yes

Closet- multiple polos, button downs, t-shirts, hats, and jackets. I even have a tie and a pair of P&G socks.

House- Craig Steltz autographed helmet, Jack Jaubert print, Billy Cannon, Patrick Peterson, and Paul Maneiri mini-helmets, personalized autographed David Toms photo, personalized autographed Billy Cannon photo, and Tiger Stadium photo. Some of this is in my office.

Vehicle- Texas LSU plate and LSU Dad decal

Other: have a set of LSU glasses with the 1965 schedule I found in an antique store.

Fan Rating- I'll take an 8. Need season tix for a 10.

after the no "pass interference" call in 06 against auburn, I've been on blood pressure meds. true story.

I guess that puts me pretty high on the fandom list.

Gameday – What’s your Gameday routine?
Tailgate, drink my arse off, but always make it in time for pregame.

Alum: Y/N
Y

Your Closet – How many LSU clothing Items do you own and how often do you wear them?
Don't know, but since I live in Atlanta, there aren't P&G folks everywhere. Somebody at work once told me that I wear more purple than Prince.

Your House – Any LSU rooms or memorabilia
We have a metallic yard sign in the front yard with LSU on it. My bar in the basement is all P&G with pictures of Tiger Stadium over the years.

Your Vehicle – Stickers? Vanity Plate?
LSU vanity plate

Other: Anything Goes
We have a neighborhood email group. My neighborhood has over 400 homes. Somebody put an email out once that somebody had run over their mailbox (cast iron) and the only evidence on who did it was a front LSU license plate that apparently came off the car. It wasn't me, but I had to end up sending an email response that basically said, "It wasn't us!" because so many people had emailed me.

Yeah mate it's a shame about the baseball I thought they had the team to win it this year.

It's an amazing tradition you have there and there's many Aussies over here that are really starting to get amongst it. I have friends who support Longhorns, USC, Georgia, the U and the ducks. But honestly from everything I've seen online from articles, to videos, to online forums. LSU fans are way above the rest. Much more passionate but also have been very helpful and welcoming in all my posts. Can't wait to experience it all in person!

Gameday: When I am overseas, I watch the Tigers over vipbox.tv. When home, I attend a few games in Tiger Stadium, and watch the rest on TV. I really enjoy attending road games.

Alum: Y

Closet: I'm more of a purple/gold Polo/Lacoste kind of guy.

Memorabilia: I'm not overly zealous about memorabilia. I hang a pennant at work, and have a few trinkets here and there around the house. I don't actively buy things myself, but If I get something as a gift, I'm excited, unless it's something weird.

Vehicle: License plate

My rating is whatever you feel it should be. I'm proud as heck to be an LSU alum. When it's in your heart, and when the school helped shape your life, you don't have to advertise/prove your fandom, because it's part of who you are.
