I agree if he really hurts a player before seasons end, then will they finally do something? Saban & Bama seem awful desperate this year!

The problem is our AD Scott Woodward is never going to fight for us against Saban because they’re friends. When Mark Emmert was the NCAA Director, Saban couldn’t be touched. He hired Saban at LSU. Until our AD, Coach, LSU Rep in Birmingham fights for us, we’re screwed. I think we should fight & take legal, but as long as Saban is at Bama nothing will happen. He brings the conference too much money so he has all the power. When he retires, I say kick Bama when they’re at their lowest, and demand investigations etc.

Oh it’s definitely all about the money and I already said ESPN is in involved! The Bama vs Georgia matchup brings a lot of ratings! The fix is in already with the Ole Miss vs Georgia game. The refs will not let them win. Here’s why..Ole Miss already has a loss, Nama has a loss, Georgia is the only undefeated SEC team, but they’re ranked 2nd. They can’t afford to have the only top 4 SEC team to drop out of the top 4 especially with Texas at 7, and a win over Bama at home. The conference loses millions if an SEC team doesn’t make the playoffs. This is all politics and money. Just like the NFL. Vegas & money control it all so yea in essence, it’s pointless to watch and be a fan if your team is not in the click to get the extra fringe benefits.

Any lawyers here that wanna hold online law school class concerning standing and assumed risk? It sucked, and it sucked a lot, but that’s about all the Justice you’re gonna get.

And there's BumFights and Backyard Pig Rassling for meatheads like you that don't get the point: The rule was put in for player safety. It needs to be enforced.

You want blood and gore? I'm sure there's a 2nd-tier luchador brawl somewhere near you that you can go scream at.

litigation is the only way anything will ever change. Needs to be alumni from LSU, Tenn, Ole Miss, Texas forming a class action suit of some sort.
my god, you're unhinged.

Make it a personal lawsuit so when Turner gets drafted Daniels walks in and seizes the money to satisfy lawsuit.

Make the dirty players who want to take out QBs personally responsible.

That’s the only way to deter cheap shots.

The only way to truly change the culture accepting "big hits" that are clearly illegal is to penalize the entire team and coaching staff.

Did you serve? If so, I'd bet that boot camp for whatever branch you were in taught the same thing: you live, work, suffer and die together as a team.

If one person straggled at the end of a run, the entire company had to do laps. If one person failed a course, the whole class repeated the course.

The idea was to get recruits to understand that they were not only responsible for their own performance, but they were also expected to help the entire group succeed.

So, with someone like Turner (or Burfect, or Suh, or Fairley, or Ramsey, take your pick), you put in penalties that drive home the fact that your teammates shouldn't condone that behavior; your coaches shouldn't condone that behavior; and your school shouldn't condone that behavior.

Once you start taking away scholarships, recruiting visits, bowl and playoff eligibility, the culture will start changing.

In my opinion, that's the only "enforcement" that has any prayer of making a difference in improving player safety on the field.

One bad hit? No.

Several bad hits over the course of a season, or a series of egregious penalties by a single team that indicate a culture tolerant of violent and illegal play?

Hell yes!

And I shouldn't need to explain to you which scenario Turner fits into...

So does Gordon get it for being the NIL guy, or the official injury lawyers for LSU Football? Maybe they can sue each other!
