I don't think its necessary to shite on kids (young adults) getting their feet wet in the football industry, a profession their father has been in for like 30 years.
Bama hires Butch Jones and Major Applewhite as analyst.
Both have been big time college head coaches.
We hire coaches kids because this is Louisiana and your qualifications don’t matter. Just need to be related to the right person

Any reasonable person should be able to know that having his 2 kids on staff, regardless of their roll is a bad idea.
Hell aren’t there nepotism laws that prevent this sort of thing? Thought I guess those don’t apply in Louisiana

They should get their feet wet at a school like McNeese or Northwestern. Not LSU. Even if they are excellent analysts, the optics of it doesn't look good. I'd even go as far as saying it hurts their chances of landing the next good job as it looks like they were only hired due to thier father being the head coach.

Bama doesn’t have their starting RB ruled ineligible. Their starting LT doesn’t get kicked off the team for weed. They don’t have coaching hires blocked due to optics. The commitment to WINNING is higher at Bama than it is here.

You can bet, if my dad or even your dad was a football coach, you would want them to help you get started. I am going to blow your mind here pal, this shite happens all the time in football. Tommy Minton kid is on staff at LSU too. He is a long time Louisiana hs football coach. Get over yourself

And LSU isn’t Alabama. No one in the country is. They are all in the same spot
That being said, 2 points
1- analyst are tiered. O’s sons are probably 11-12 on staff. Butch Jones is Alabama’s leading analyst. He isn’t bringing coffee to bill O’Brien or writing scouting reports on ULM’s punt team gunner like lil Bebe is probably doing
2-Orgeron brought LSU up to standards with college football by pushing for more analysts., one of the things he got right. And for the most part has made solid hires there.
And LSU isn’t Alabama. No one in the country is. They are all in the same spot
